Morello's Your Independent Grocer

We are quite impressed with this grocery store, we started shopping here in October when we moved to Peterborough and the staff has always been friendly & helpful. The store is always clean, they offer great selections.
The only suggestion/wish we have is it would be nice to see a little more organic produce and some organic fresh herbs.

Amazing store, and staff. Meals to go from the deli are to die for and very inexpensive, hot and ready to go and large selection.

I shop here every week. I find the store and staff always great. I however am now wondering why the need for security?

Nice and clean store. Was well stocked with the items we were looking for.

Found mussels and they have an olive bar! Great selection of everything, dropped in as a change from our usual place and will be returning again.

My local grocery. What more can I say? Prices ok. Produce usually good. Butcher sometimes grumpy if you ask for a special cut. But I'm grumpy too. So it works out. Appreciate the Pride flag in the window.

Love this store. Fanatastic staff, so friendly, great natural product section. Lots of parking and lovely to have a store that still bags your items and provides service if you need a hand.

This is by far the best place to shop in Peterborough.
Produce best in town. Meat fantastic. The only downside is the seafood dept. Don't get me wrong it's top shelf product; but the last 2 times I went to get something it's not been available.
This hopefully will not be on on going issue.
I hate when stores put out a flyer and do not have stock.

The packaged food/salad section is awesome. The ladies behind the counter even made me a bacon free ceaser since there wasnt one already! A lot of great ready made options. Produce is always well stocked & good quality. Awesome antipasto options.

It’s relatively small but it’s decently stocked and the food is fresh. The Salads and Sushi look really good even at the end of the day. The store was spotless and staff were polite. Prices are fine I suppose; same prices you’d find at a Loblaws. I find Independents prices can vary dependent on location. The Parking Lot is large enough, there’s a bus stop right outside the door and there’s public washrooms as well as a handicap washroom separately.

Clean location, great staff and great deals!

This location has the most amazing pharmacy team. One Pharmacist in particular (she is a female, I did not catch her name, I wish I did). This Pharmacist called numerous pharmacies in Peterborough to find a location that could make my child's antibiotic that is on back order. She went above and beyond to get us the medication we needed for our little one, and we truly appreciate it. She also helped us the other night when we were in for another prescription. She was incredibly fast and helpful. She is an amazing asset to your store. Thank you so much.

Dave and kim are awesome. They hire top notch staff and is always willing to take the time to say hi. Produce is the best in town and you wont find a cleaner store anywhere. ANYWHERE!

Morello's has great owners, staff, service and products. We been going there for over 20 years

Good quality produce in a clean, pleasant environment. Shopping cart rentals are "free!" Even the bathroom is nice. A good selection of gluten free products, some children's clothing, and a pharmacy. Beautiful fresh cut flowers and plants are often available. The check out staff are plentiful and friendly. Rarely a line up. They also have a popular hot lunch counter, as well as a deli and bakery. However, you may pay more than at other grocery stores for the luxury of shopping here!

I was here recently with my 3 year old and my car battery died. My CAA membership expired the day before and I felt embarassed to ask anyone for a boost as I didn’t have cables. I went into customer service and they were so kind! They found a young man employee and he checked his truck. He had cables and gave me a boost. Very thankful for their kindness. Also great grocery store, well stocked!
