Sobeys Peterborough

I shopped at Sobeys for the first time today and I usually avoid them because their prices are always higher than Walmart. However I decided to go in today because they had some sales on as I am a Scene+ Member and wanted to rack in some points. I also decided to try Sobeys sobeys because I was going on a new diet and needed fresh food which I find grocery stores like Sobeys has more variety, and they do! They had an amazing variety of items and lots of really amazing sales. I had to ask the staff for help finding an item and they were courteous and willing to help. You don't get that at Walmart. Although their prices are a bit higher I think they make up for it in sales and customer service. My original order was $430 but after sale prices and using my Scene points only cost me $210 which is over 50% savings. Im going to start shopping more often at this location. Pork normally $14.99 on sale for $3.99.

The flower attendants where fantastic and helped me out in a jam. The flowers always seem fantastic as well. I will continue to go there for both the service and the flowers. My wife loved the arrangement for the anniversary flowers I got her there. Thanks flower people for saving my bacon!

I love Sobeys. Everything is all well. However, you have all Korinos Feta versions, i.e. Goat, Goat/Sheep and Sheep BUT NO Korinos SHEEP only. That is my preferred kind. You stopped selling those. I buy a lot of them. So I hope in the future you sell Korinos Sheep Feta again. Thank you for a great shopping experience. Peace!

First time in this store. Found everything we were looking for. Checkout was quick and the cashier friendly.

I always pass by, I don't know if it's expensive or cheap but they have good prepared dishes, the chicken is more expensive, two dollars more expensive than in other stores

I visited Sobeys on Lansdowne and the young lady named Sydney was extremely helpful and so very nice!!!

Great produce, clean, always stocked. Hot food counter has been lacking lately but generally it is delicious.

Beer section is always nicely stocked.

I called ahead to have produce put aside for me as I travel a great distance to get to any store. They were very accommodating considering the item was a special. Thank you! I also like their fresh and frozen fish selection, a nice variety including arctic char! Great customer service and very pleasant phone and in store manners. Good, clean place.

Quick stop for some bread. Store was nice and well laid out.

It was awesome, immaculate store, wonderful staff, and they had pizza slices so dam yummy and they had my olives. Love the fresh salads and sushi. My dinner tonight if it makes it to dinner

Certainly NOT what I was expecting (in a good way). The layout is very nice and the staff that I dealt with were very friendly and helpful. Lots of free parking available.

I absolutely LOVE this store! It's my go-to now for meat products. Every time I get any kind of meat from this store, it's always fine cuts and amazing for the cost. This store has everything you need and it's easy to find what you need. Definitely would rather shop here than at Walmart. Always a pleasant experience!

A cool ambience and well arranged store makes this one of the best place to shop if only for the shopping experience. The cozy atmosphere is further enhanced by the availability of beer and other alcoholic drinks (they have license to sell).
The toilets are well maintained and supervised.
They also provide masks at the entrance to ensure that they meet all Covid protocols. Really worth a visit

This store stands out, it is different, in a good way. It feels like home, friendly staff that go out of their way for you. A clean, organized store with just about anything you'll ever need but ultimately it's the caring staff that make you want to come back.

Fresh Produce All The Time

Beautiful store. Has a bit of everything. Went specifically for keto frozen bread and was happy to find the specific one we went in for.
Also picked up a cooked roasted chicken. So good on top of a loaded salad.
