Shoppers Drug Mart

I regularly go to this Shoppers Drug Mart location. Located close to Coxwell subway station, this is an easy Shoppers to get to if you need to quickly hop on and off the subway to get what's needed (fellow Presto users know what I mean!).

I see mixed reviews for this location and I think, much like many places, it really depends on the situation and the people involved. I can tell you from my experience that I've only had positive experiences here. No issues with the pharmacy or staff and while I'm not happy about the general prices at Shoppers, I'm mindful this is set up by the company at large and not this specific location.

Overall, I would say this store has a pretty decent sized grocery section - you can get your milk, cream, eggs, cheese, bacon, bread some meats, frozen goods, pantry and kitchen items along with your typical snacks and treats. Store also has a functioning Canada Post. If you're in need of coffee, there is also a built in Tim Horton's that you can access in the store or through its outside window.

What I do appreciate about this Shoppers Drug Mart are the staff that work there. There are some key staff who have been working at this Shoppers for years! Everyone has been pleasant and professional - zero issues overall.

This particular review is for Bonnie in the Beauty and Makeup department. If you're in need of makeup and someone who will interact with you sincerely and authentically, look for Bonnie. She's been at this Shoppers location for years and is just such a gem. She is always polite, friendly, and professional. Yesterday, Bonnie helped me to make my purchase - the item I wanted was re-packaged and I had a hard time figuring out what was what. She was patient and walked me through the product and even helped to make sure I had what was needed for the Family and Friends event that was taking place. She was easy to talk to, the shopping experience was no stress and I walked out a very happy customer.

To the owner of this Shoppers, keep up the good work in your hiring process! You are obviously doing something right with staff who have stayed for years. The lower staff turnover highlights some positive administrative and managerial skills in place at this particular location. Well done!

Great big shoppers! I frequent this shoppers, always friendly staff to help out. I usually always use self check out so I am in and out.

I am very pleased with this Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy. The pharmacist was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all the questions I had about the medication.

Been going to this shoppers for awhile now. And the employees knows me and they're really nice. Especially, one employee, when something ran out, I ask one employee name Emerson, and he goes to the back and look if there's any or not. He just doesn't say, if you don't see any on the shelf, there's no more.

I walked in to get some help in the makeup/cosmetic section of the store. The location looked clean, well maintained and stocked up. I didn't expect to get so much assistance from a beautiful young woman named Bonnie. She was super friendly, helpful and detailed about showing me what products and what steps to take in applying the makeup correctly, etc. She went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed and that I received an excellent experience overall. I wanted to thank her directly and please hire more people like her!! She was awesome!!!!!!!

I came in looking for a specific brand of sunscreen. And realised it was sold out. Gina was incredibly helpful and made suggestions as to a good substitute. She was super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The beauty boutique is lucky to have her. I will be back for sure!

I always find it easy to find help from the young staff. They are friendly and energetic. My experience with Jennifer the Cashier Mgr is a breath of fresh air. She's always looking to help customers. Yes, the prices are high for groceries, but it's the convenience we are paying for. Also, I'm glad they have a Timmies in store. I'd say " keep up the good work " to the staff at this location.

If I had an opportunity to give this Shoppers Drug Mart ten stars I would. Recently, I walked over to see if I could get myself on the waiting list for the booster shot. I was very fortunate to speak with Nicole one of the pharmacy assistants and was very courteous and was able to provide me with an appointment as a cancellation had occurred. Very sweet and knowledgeable. The pharmacist Abdeen was able to give me the vaccine and he was so nice and given I am afraid of needles, he assured me I wouldn't feel anything and he was right I didn't feel a thing. Abdeen thanks to you I did not have the common setbacks from the vaccine which was a sore arm. Abdeen was absolutely amazing and thank you for this wonderful pharmacy staff. Despite how chaotic these past few weeks has been the staff is always approachable and friendly. To the owner, you have a wonderful staff such as Abdeen making sure patients feel great after taking the vaccine. Abdeen and Nicole thank you so much you are both wonderful and keep up the great especially the pharmacy staff.

The staff are always knowledgeable and very helpful. Always get great recommendations from those who work in the cosmetics department. It's a good sign when you see happy employees, and in the 12 years I've been coming there, I always find the staff polite and positive.

I really like this store , not too big so you can find everything very easily. The staff is always good specially the cosmetician Sarah because she help so many times. She told me about the rain check which is really helpful for me. She always help me to select my skin products.
If you are not sure about your skin products I must say that you can go this store & meet with “Sarah”

I always shop here. Everyone is always really nice and they barely have empty shelves. The cosmetic girls are fairly knowledgeable as well. They now have a produce section which is super expensive but convenient if you need just 1 or 2 items for a recipe.

Is has the best employees an the fresh food to go an there discount are the best

The ladies at customer service are the best! I called a few stores to find a Surface Go and this store had one left. It was rush hour and would take me at least half an hour to get there and asked if they could hold it. When I got there another customer was asking for it too and lucky for me, they said someone called in for it so I was able to get it in the end. Thank you again for your help to the Shopper's rep.

This location is constantly putting items on sale store-wide and often has sale prices on food and supplies as low as any other discount retailer like Wal-Mart or No Frills.

They carry a lot of basics in the food section and their produce is actually pretty good, as good as the higher end Loblaws stores.

There is always room to park and they have three self-checkout stations. Super convenient.

It's one of the better shoppers I've been to. Clean, organized, and very helpful staff.

They provide the all the same services as your other drug stores. Their selection of products aren't as vast as other Shoppers but they do have amazing prices! They usually have a large selection of items on good promotion. They also have a very convenient free parking lot.

There beauty experts are just amazing.
I love popping in just to ask Bonnie about any new and fun products that may have come in. Bonnie is fantastic and always helps me find the right product for what I need or want. Bonnie makes this shoppers the one I go to most.

The pharmacy staff is amazing. Lucio is knowledgeable and friendly. Service with a smile all the time. Efficient and great service
