Goodway's Specialty Foods.

This is my favorite place for shopping dry food in New Westminster. The spices are totally different from other places. It's just perfect! The staff is very friendly and respectful.

This is one of my favourite shops in New West. We visit often. They have pretty much any ingredient you are looking for, at good prices. Friendly, efficient service. Love it❤

They have a fantastic selection of dried foods as well as interesting sauces & condiments from around the world. They also carry essential oils at reasonable prices. Great find!

I still remember the original store, Galloway’s decades ago on Robson Street. Now renamed Goodway’s (due to new owner), it is still the same decades later with unique quality products and great customer service. As soon as you walk in, you can smell the array of spices sold here. You’ll find an ample variety of nuts, grains, flours, & imported items. If you are needing a specific spice or ingredient to make that special dish, this is the place to go. This place has ingredients for all types of cooks including gluten-free, vegans, vegetarians, etc.

The staff is helpful and friendly. They have different store hours (see attached photo). They are located on Sixth street in New Westminster (just across the street from Royal City Centre Shopping). There’s parking on the street or just as easy, park in the Royal City Shopping Centre for free. Exit at the doors near the food court and Goodway’s is across the street.

Great little store for (almost) any type of spice, flour, bean, sugar, nut, dried fruit you could want and then some.

Awesome shop for bulk and pre packed goods. Travelling for a month out of Vancouver. Stocked up on gluten free options. So many options.

what a wonderful wee place, so much goodness packed in to such a small store! among other things I buy their golden flaxseed meal & almond meal for making gluten-free breads & wraps etc, always fresh & very nutritious, they have many products in bulk & fresh

Best place on earth for foodies and cooks. Prices for spices, herbs and other pantry staples are far less that any mainstream grocery stores, example 1lb pepper corn is $6.99 (used to be $5.99) where as at Safeway/Save-On/superstore it is over $20. Lots of variety of dried fruits, nuts and grains with really excellent price. I go there every few months to stock up. They used to have a way larger store in Richmond off #3 road but it closed 10-15 years ago.

Galloway's is a Pantry Paradise! Though it looks small, the place is packed with quality products. They've even allowed me to use my own jars for bulk foods to save on plastic (zero waste). The staff are lovely! They have always provided me with fantastic service. I've been coming here for about 20 years and will never stop so long as I live the Lower Mainland.

We moved to the area recently, and my wife sums up our thoughts in one sentence: "I think this is my new favourite shop, ever."

Everytime I come to the Mainland, I arrive with the big list of items to shop. Galloway's is the place that covers my shopping list. They carry the items that we use a lot, from spices to organic meals which is packed by the store. Always fresh, high quality and very reasonably priced. The fact the stuff is approachable and friendly, makes the shopping more enjoyable. The store manager, Natasha shares her knowledge of nutrition field, so you can also get a right guidance when choosing a product.

Best selection of obscure and normal dried spices and different flours and legumes in the Burnaby new west surrey area.

They also sell vanilla beans and other random sauces and sugars and salts. I go here for all my ethnic cooking needs.

Awesome little shop with a staff that are always happy to help. Prices are consistently better on spices and harder to find things like exotic flours. They do close up a bit earlier than is convenient 515 vs 530, but it's well worth stopping in if you live in new west. Seriously, where else are you going to find cocoa nibs, bulk buckwheat flour and your bodyweight in licorice under one roof?

I love this shop. You can find almost anything in there. And the ladies are great and provide service the old way. And yes they do sell products in white labels. That's because they buy in bulk and package it themselves as do many other companies. As for someone claiming how do you know it's organic? We believe anything on a label and just because it's sold in a flashy bottle or bag with a massive mark up doesn't mean it's organic. You'd buy bulk from Save on Foods or Safeway, package it yourself and label it yourself and it's the same thing except at Galloway's a million germy hands haven't touched it. Sure it's tight in there but it's great and the customers that go there have been going for years and don't mind it being the way it is. How do you think they keep the prices low?

Get some freshly ground peanut butter here it's so good! The store is tiny but it's packed with so many dry goods hard to find spices bulk baking supplies and health realted items. The prices are quite reasonable and the staff is always friendly!

This is a cute little grocery place with a lot of speciality food prep options to buy from. So many options in tea, nuts and spices, candies, good quality olive oil. This is a good grocery story if you are looking for buying your kitchen supplies in smaller quantities. The staff is super warm and welcoming.

This is what a health food store should be. It smells like a health food store should smell. They got all your dried goods and spices snacks and treats, and the ladies are lovely. I live in Chilliwack always make special trips out to Galloway's because it's that good. Plus the ladies think that I look like Shaun majumder hehehe. What a great time I always leave with a smile on my face.

Today I was thinking of cooking Thai food and also planning to do a birthday cake for my husband’s friend.. I come out to buy some flour and some ingredients here as usual, but it was a nice surprise the most is something that I don’t expect from this shop all what I want is here “tamarind “ for making Phadthai sauce the famous dish that everyone who love Thai food 🙂. And another things from around the world are here you can buy with small amounts and reasonable price I recommend everyone to visit Galloway ‘s Fine Food Specialties you will happy to find special ingredients for your special dish..
