Hashil has a vast amount of knowledge on running, and the types of shoes that will suit you best. He spent well over an hour with us trying different shoes and explaining the pros and cons of each type of shoe. If you need a pair of running shoes, Hashil is the man to see. 10/10.

Today I went to the Burnaby outlet, and had a great conversation with Leo Tam, who fitted me with a pair of new balance, wide sneakers that perfectly fit my feet in accordance to my insoles that I had purchased from my podiatrist. His expertise and professionalism was outstanding. He quickly saw my situation and showed me the Hoka brand and we decided that the new balance was perfect for my feet and my requirements. This is the first time I’ve owned a new balance pair of sneakers, and I placed them on my feet and they feel great. Walking out of the store. Went here today set on picking up a pair of Hokas but walked out the door with a completely different shoe. Hashil (employee) was so knowledgeable and gave me recommendations on what he thought was best for me. I tried on 6 different pairs and I felt like a bit of a nuisance asking to try on so many but he made me and my mom feel like he was happy to help with any of our needs. Jessica W was very helpful. She demonstrated knowledge and patience with both my mother and me. She analyzed my mother's walk, bring out different shoes and ask key questions with many descriptions/adjectives to capture the best shoe. My mom would walk back and forth to assess her comfort and Jessica didn't get impatient at all! She even encourage her to take take all the time she needed with a smile! Came here to get Hoka's... they didnt have my size but not an issue! Staff was very friendly and helped me place order online.. shipping was quick and is perfect size and fit! Highly reccomend :) there is indian guy working there.. was very helpful!

I came in thinking I wanted a specific shoe but it didn't end up working for me. Janelle was the only one working at this time and she was so helpful, providing many options for me. It was 30 minutes before closing and there were many customers but Janelle was still very attentive. Nothing but great things to say about my experience here. :)

What a great experience! Everyone there is super friendly, knowledgable and truly want you to wear the perfect shoe for your situation. They practice strict COVID protocol, which I respect highly. They make you walk without shoes - and there is plenty of room to give it a natural good walk. You tell them what foot, back, hip issues you have and they give you two to three shoes to try on - not 5 plus. They know what most likely works for you. I was walking out that door feeling like I had slippers on and walked on a cloud. Now after walking 3 hours, I have no pain in my joints. I am incredibly happy with that purchase.

Easily the best sports apparel retail service I have experienced to date. Being that the Running Room is a specialty store, I went in with high expectations, but the service was above and beyond! The sales woman took the time to help me find the perfect running shoe.
