STOCK T.C Grocer

For those looking for great food, a good grocery store, a good bakery, a good butcher and a great structure, Stock is certainly the right place!

Here you can find everything: preserves, jellies, sausages, cheeses, spices, fresh meats, fresh foods, wonderful desserts and incredible service.

The building itself already has a special charm, and the inside is even more incredible!

It has a conventional pedestrian entrance and an accessible entrance for wheelchair users, it has elevators to the bar floor and tables with space for wheelchairs and walkers! The area between the warehouse shelves is narrower, so you need to be a little careful when passing through!

It is close to the Egliton metro, as well as close to private parking lots, bus stops and several shops.

For those who love grocery stores like me, this is definitely a perfect place.

One of my favorite Italian place to go to! I love their pantry & restaurant. Great value place to invite friends in my neighborhood.

I ordered less salty on truffle fries, and it was perfect👍👍 my guests loved every dish!

One and only problem is that they don't have a parking🤦🏻‍♀

Have Returned/Would Return. (Takeout/Salad Bar/Baked Goods).

Seems like majority of the low ratings are for dine-in.
Their takeout salads, pastries and actual shop are quite worth it and of exceptional quality.

The Chicken Salad is one of the most worth it items I've seen in Toronto. $9.99 for a generous serving loaded with protein.

Would return for other items.
Great for locals. Takes AMEX.

They now have a hot bar at their steak area, Beef Wellington, turkey legs and other baked savoury items.

Again, it's actually pretty good quality for the grocer, so check them out!

Chicken Salad pricing went through the roof. No value here anymore. Skip.

Pizza is decent, although a little too wet.

Good spot for casual dining. The food are not like michelin-level, but all dishes were generally above average. Our waitress was very kind and the overall atmosphere was great. My fav was the bolognese pasta.

The Stock is an Italian grocery store located on Young Street. They offer a wide selection of fresh products in the bakery section, dairy, meat, and pantry items, as well as prepared meals and snacks. The store also has a cafe and juice bar, where customers can enjoy a variety of healthy and delicious meals. But let’s talk about the sweets I tried. First the pistachio eclair. Simply divine. I can’t even describe it. I tried a fruit tart. It looked amazing and the quality of the fruits on it was A+. Unlike in other places inside the pie crust there was a fine layer of white chocolate in top of which was a circle of sponge cake. In between the sponge and the crust and on top just below the fruit there was some English cream. 6starts to both cakes

Came for a casual holiday lunch with my family.

Service: was great. Our server had a great vibe, was quick and literally read our minds. The only fault is that they didnt introduce themselves.

Food: We ate a bit of everything…French Onion Soup, Tartar, Cobb Salad, Pizza and The Burger. For dessert we had a the Lemon Pie. We enjoyed it all. The burger was done perfectly - medium rare. Wicked Shirley Temples - made with fresh OJ.

We enjoyed our meal and will be back!

Great food, nice presentation! I went to the restaurant with my friend and we both enjoyed our food. They have great wine selections as well. The Foie gras and Prosciutto were amazing. Pasta was perfect. I came back twice for takeout order.

I have previously dined on the patio at Stock and we celebrated an important family birthday with brunch for 24 this past Sunday. The event planning, menu composition, food, and service were all delivered by Stock with courtesy and thoughtfulness and everyone enjoyed the visit to Stock. Besides that, the food and drinks were delicious! I'd highly recommend Stock!

They sat us at the patio in the front, however judging from the reviews the rooftop patio is much nicer. Would highly recommend making reservations to ensure you are seated there. After we finished our food we moved inside for a drink, the indoor dining is extremely nice. The bar and and restaurant has great atmosphere.
The food and drinks were delicious 😋 They also have a grocer downstairs with a bakery and deli, recommend checking it out.

Food was amazing and the aesthetics are top tier. Our waiter (Robyn) was very courteous, friendly and respectful. Will definitely be returning.

I went to Stock T.C. restaurant multiple times now. A few times for an office holiday luncheon and a few times for family dinners. Each time we had excellent food and great service. The margarita pizza is excellent here as well as the steak, eggplant parmesan, and calamari. The restaurant decor is beautiful and chic. The downstairs area is also beautiful where you can shop. I highly recommend to dine here! :)

Excellent service! I needed a special diamond kosher salt that was out everywhere in Toronto and they didn’t have it in stock but took down my name and number and called me when it was available within a few hours. They left it on the side for me to pickup, incredible service. They have high quality food!

Absolutely love Stock! Love love love their roof top patio. Their interior space is also gorgeous so can’t wait to dine inside. Drinks are always phenomenal and the food is tasty! If you are familiar with Terroni, they have a lot if the same menu items with additions from Cumbraes like the steak and different salads. It’s definitely a bigger space so not necessarily small and intimate but it’s a well piled production with their multi floor seating and their shop downstairs.

It was a bit frustrating for them to call us two hours before my birthday dinner reservation for a party over 12 people and cancel us due to weather conditions but they ended up making arrangements which I really appreciate. Food is always sooooo goooood here. We were so happy with the service as well. I can’t wait to visit again and try all the yummy food and drinks.

We dined here last night the experience was great. We had a table for two on the roof top which is quite nice however quite windy. You may want to bring a jacket.

I ordered an Old Fashion to start and it was perfect. Much like the kind you would get in a high end steak house where this type of drink is a staple.

For entrees we had the tagliatelle bolognese and a burger with fries. Both meals exceptionally high quality despite their simple nature. For desert, Tiramisu. One of the best in the city only second to Banfi where they make their own.

Waiter was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The overall vibe was very cool. Great place to spend a Friday evening. I would definitely recommend this place.

It’s an experience with the ground floor being a grocery story for all things Italian and premium meats with an emphasis on quality across the board.

My friend brought me to this place, which caught me off guard since it's a grocery store which was converted from a bank. Either way, it seems like a very high-end grocery store (not even Whole Foods could rival this place).

Regardless, we went to the bakery to get some desserts. So many selections, and the only thing I wanted was the Pumpkin Spice Gelato - unfortunately, all the basics got to it before me.

Instead I opted for the Pistachio Tart, and that thing was both heavy and filling. I really enjoyed the Pistachio cream, and the crust reminded me of the Purdy's Ultimate Bar - it was delicious! My friend got the Cheesecake, and that too was dense, but packed with a lot of flavour.

While I would like to go back to browse what other selections are available, I can say that I really enjoyed these overpriced desserts at the upscale grocery store. Service was great, and I hope to make a trip up town soon.

Probably one of the prettiest food halls in Toronto. A bit reminiscent of the Harrods food hall but with more merchandise. No fish section but all meats and Italian products. Set in an old beautiful post office. Go for a breakfast bite or the bar/ restaurant upstairs. Well worth the visit.

This may be the best burger I’ve had! The steak was delicious. The brussel sprouts were a bit too salty. Looking forward to enjoying some of snacks picked up at the grocery. Will definitely return.

Had a reservation for dinner at their outdoor seating. It was so pretty with the lights and set up.

We ordered a simple mozzarella pizza, steak burger with fries and some drinks. I must say, the burger was SOO good. From the taste to the texture, it was just perfect! Even the pizza was really good. Everything was yummy and I would reccomend.

The service was excellent as well. We were always checked up on when needed.
