Urban Nature Store

I've been a regular customer at Urban Nature Store in Pickering, and it's truly the ultimate destination for all things related to birding. From bird feeders to bird food and an array of other items, they have it all. Among my purchases are the Squirrel Stopper stand equipped with four hangers, a Squirrel Buster suet feeder, and an additional pair of Squirrel Buster feeders. The staff members have consistently proven to be incredibly helpful, readily addressing any inquiries I might have. Without a doubt, Urban Nature Store is the go-to establishment for anyone passionate about birds.

Wife and myself have been going here for years. There have been different people at the cashiers over the years, but most of the time they know their products and know more about birds than we do.

Lately there has been someone to carry large bags of seed to the SUV.

Never knew this store existed , surprised to see it's part of a small chain selling all your bird seeds for feeding the birds, bird houses , garden tools and a host of unique products, I forgot to ask a question last time I was in, so I have to return. very different store.

I have been dealing with this store for many years. I am amazed at how diligent they were at getting me a replacement part for my Droll Yankee feeder even though the company was bought out by another company. Said, and still says "Guaranteed for Life”. Understandably took a while but they did it! I’m a happy customer.

Nice little store, has plenty of birding gear. I buy my bird seed here as they have the no mess shelled variety. Not cheap but I prefer it over the bulk kind that leaves a mess around your bird feeders. Friendly and helpful staff!

This store is a bird fanatics paradise. I came here to pick-up a present for my partner and as I browsed around the store I was impressed with the inventory of various bird and outdoor products they have. They also have lots of educational materials for children and adults. Plus the worker on the counter was really polite and helpful. Will definitely come back to this location again.

Just got into birding and from the first time I stepped my foot in the store the customer service has been outstanding. My first time in Pickering's Urban Nature store I only had questions and told staff that and they were more than helpful with answers and suggestions. Based on their previous suggestions I purchased product months later, online during the virus stores shutdown. After placing my online order I had called with few questions and even as busy as they were Montana was just great as she took the time to answer and did what she said she would with my order. Finally enjoying my new hobby I left my binoculars of old out in the rain, finished. I went to purchase a new pair at Urban Nature because of my past two great customer service dealings with them and again, customer service was outstanding. Jane went way above what should be expected as she made sure I got the right binoculars and that meant going outside with me on Kingston Rd 5-6 times trying different brands, sizes and she finally got me zeroed in on the ones that I’ve been using since I got home. I’ve had two eye surgeries so perhaps that made it more difficult than usual for someone buying binoculars but Jane made sure I was going to be enjoying my new hobby which I’m certainly doing with crystal clear clarity. Thank you Jane and all Urban Nature staff, your great customer service is greatly appreciated by my myself and many others, that's for sure....CHEERS

I messed up TWICE on my online order and the refunds were processed the same day and my items shipped the next. The replies to my emails outlining my mistakes were responded to within hours and that was awesome! Shop here with confidence. Thank you Urban Nature Store!!

Great store with lots of bird feeders and other cool backyard features and knick nacks. A section of puzzles and toys for kids as well. Will come back again soon to take a better look around but due to covid limits and a line of customers I got in and out pretty quick. Staff was super helpful pointing me to where to find what I was looking for and didn't rush me at all. Will definitely be back again and now my go to for seeds!

The staff was great in helping me with a problem I had with a product. So friendly! The store has a great selection for everything: from raccoon deterrents, to bird’s nests/feeder, to wind chimes. Definitely recommend this store.

I have been going here for years and I am so thankful that they were able to keep open through all the shutdowns. I hope that now with everything reopened (hopefully for good now) they will enjoy a successful summer/fall season. Always friendly and excellent service!

Great customer service - really helped me out during my rush to rescue 2 ducks - I ended up having to buy like 15-20 bags of corn, all at the last minute ranging over 12 days. TYSM!

Everyone that works there is always really kind and knowledgable. They also have a lot of neat and different items here, great place to pick up gifts. Great selection of bird feeders and houses, I love shopping here!
