We did not shop in the actual store but my husband and I had cycled to Sunderland from Uxbridge on our gravel bikes and were looking for a coffee shop - the River Street Cafe was closed because it was a long weekend Saturday. We were looking at our phones to see if we could find another place to get coffee when a very nice lady walked over to us from the Home Hardware (she works there or is the owner as she was wearing their uniform top) and came to our rescue!! She was so friendly and nice and told us about two other nearby places to get coffee. I really appreciated this and would like to shop in that store knowing that the people here care about everyone and not just their customers in the store. Thank you so much for helping us that day!! You are wonderful!!! We will be back again.

It's amazing how this smalltown store has almost everything you need, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. I drive down from Cannington, thinking, 'there is no way they will stock this', and 9 times out of 10, they do!

The best customer service I have ever experienced. Wonderful place to shop. I'm glad they're local. It's also surprising for store that's not that big, I have always got what I wanted no matter how complicated or how unique. We need to have more stores out there like this one

I was doing some minor electrical Reno’s on my daughter’s townhouse in Uxbridge and needed an electrical receptacle (unplanned) because the existing one broke apart in my hands. Called all local “hardware” stores and some within 20 minutes and could only order on line and wait for them to reply. I called Pilgrims because my daughter had heard they were responsive. They said they had one and put it aside for me. Got there, excellent service. I will go back and if you live within 30 kilometres make it your hardware store. Shop Local and where you get excellent service. This is one of those places.

Holy! Do they ever fit a lot of stuff in here! Excellent service, reasonable prices, and great selection for a store this size--about 3 times bigger than it looks. They have plumbing, auto, gardening, paint, rekeying, and much more.

1st class local store outstanding team and amazing stock - I love the Canadian made product's that they try to sell - Puts the Big box stores to shame. Prices very fair.
