Shoppers Drug Mart

I just had to leave a "big thank-you" - I recently had dental surgery and showed up at the prescription desk with a couple of scripts - the one for pain being the one eagerly sought! A mouthful of gauze betrayed my reason for being there. Janette, working the "drop off" station, was very kind and invited me to sit - it might be a few minutes I was advised. Just as I was getting comfortable for what I anticipated to be a "wait", the pharmacist, Stephanie, advise that my prescriptions were ready! Wow! Needless to say I was grateful. Thank you both for the terrific service! It was much much appreciated!

This is a pharmacy review. When I was turned away from multiple empty walk-in clinics in Leslieville, the amazing pharmacists here extended my life saving prescription so that I didn’t have to go to Emergency Care. The pharmacy staff are always friendly and do the best they can with such a busy/high volume location.

I just need to send a shout out to Sherry who works at the Pharmacy at this location, and has for quite a few years. She has helped me too many times to count with prescription situations for myself and my kids. She's so friendly, and always calls me by name. She often recognizes me on the phone. She is empathetic and helpful and figures things out quickly and efficiently. She makes me feel like this Shoppers location is a small local business in a small town. It's just awesome!

Pharmacy accidentally shorted me on a prescription. Was facing running out of meds, and doctor not responding all day. I didn't need a refill--just the supply I was shorted on. (I've never had a prescription that needed refilling before now.) TWO pharmacy assistants refused to even LISTEN to my explanation. Were perfectly willing to let me go home WITHOUT VALIDLY PRESCRIBED MEDS when it was their mistake. I asked to see the pharmacist, Susan. She not only immediately 1) **LISTENED to the problem**, 2) declared "Oh, we made a mistake!", and 3) QUICKLY provided the meds...but then 4) took further action to Make it Right. Remember when businesses would make a mistake but then do what it took to Make it Right? They don't do that anymore--but Susan at this Shoppers did.

Always seems clean and the staff has always been friendly. I’ve used the pharmacy in this shoppers since moving to the city ~8 months ago and never had any issues dropping off or picking up a prescription.

I have to say a big thank you to Pharmacist Harry Chiu and staff!! they work so hard and Mr. Chiu always takes the time to help me. Right now retail stores are having a difficult time with staffing and we need to show a little respect as they work very hard! I appreciate all they do for me!

I came in today looking for something from the cosmetics area of the store. Tamar was the person to help me and she was AMAZING. Great customer service and went above and beyond for me. She immediately had some ideas of what to show me, and showed me items in different price ranges because I wasn't sure I ended up going with her first reccomendation though, which has turned out to be EXACTLY what I needed. She was so knowledgeable about all of the products so I really felt comfortable with her reccomendations. I never came to shoppers to get any type of cosmetics items but will be back specifically because of her. 10/10 you guys are lucky to have her.

Harry, Sheila, Sherry and the rest of the pharmacy team have been good to us for over 20? years. Always lots of good deals in the food sections. And, if I load my Optimum 0ffers every Thursday, I seem to get 30% off one day every week.

I've been going to shoppers (Queen & Carlaw) for about ten years. The staff there is polite and professional. Harry (the owner) is a humble man. I guess the post office is busy most of the time because people like going there.

Friendly attendant in the cosmetics section went out of her way to be of assistance on Thursday, December 4 in the evening. While she was pushing the corporate agenda, directing me and our conversation, she listened to my requests and provided outstanding service. Thanks, hon! Most grateful.

I was there lastnight an the girl in the Makeup section was amazing! She helped me with makeup while I waited for my prescription. The nicest most knowledgeable person I have ever met! I had a great time waiting for my prescription!! Thanks

The grocery section is fantastic and when I lived close by I would do most of my grocery shopping here. I've always had a good experience at this location. (Can't say the same for the Canada Post location inside – consistently terrible service from one of the workers.)

i love this shoppers, because everyone there are very friendly and helpful. Especially the pharmacy team, very informative and patient. Excellent service, highly recommended, and will be coming back with all my prescriptions in the future!

This is my go to pharmacy, not to mention basic groceries. Harry and Monica are amazing as are all of the staff. Service you might not expect from a large store. Highly recommended.
