Sophie is a wonderful pharmacist! I was super anxious and she was so helpful, going above and beyond to help me with some very complicated decision making. Very grateful for her help and expertise!

I've had such bad experiences at other Shoppers with the pharmacists, but every person I've spoken to from this team has gone above and beyond to help me.

I find the negative reviews about this store surprising to say the least. I have been going there for nearly 20 years and have always found all the staff to be helpful and courteous. The pharmacy's staff in particular have always been of the utmost help even in difficult circumstances.

This was my regular pharmacy for 3-4 years and while writing reviews for another pharmacy I realized I never wrote one for this one which needs to be remedied because Alex and his team took care of us very well, waiving co-pays when he could and having everything VERY efficient and your pickups ready to go on time, every time. Alex himself obviously worked very hard, I saw him there almost every time I went there, even on weekends and though he is mild-mannered and quiet, he is capable and smart. It definitely could not have been easy treating some of the patients he did at that intersection - you never know what kind of ranting would suddenly start coming out of impatient customers who believed they were entitled to service before everyone else but Alex always handled it particularly well.

Miscommunications with my doctor sometimes screwed things up but I believe they were mostly on the clinic end because they use some kind of automated fax program and not a real fax machine, so prescriptions would get lost or sent in random pieces instead of one continuous one. I actually moved out of here to the Junction last year so I had to say goodbye to Alex and Dickson and Lilly and the one pharmacy tech with the red hair and cute freckles (so sorry I forgot your name) and everyone else there who took care of my medical needs for so long. Thank you for serving the diverse needs of our community.

The wife wanted a perfume which they had readily available.

Furthermore, the person helping us explained the specials for using optimum points to which resulted in getting 2 bottles of perfume/cologne for $47.00

And she even provided small samples of other colognes/perfumes to try out.

Have been going to this Shoppers since we moved into the neighborhood which was 34 years ago. First when it was on Bathurst and Queen and then when it relocated to Portland and Queen. Great staff always very helpful and friendly. The pharmacy team is beyond amazing my mom takes alot of medications and they have everything on file and also helps when I need to check if meds conflicts with one another. They contact family doctor for refills. This Shoppers is amazing.

I am transgender and recently started hormone replacement therapy, I’ve heard people can have pretty poor interactions when picking up their HRT. I was shocked by the extra care the pharmacist took yesterday to call me by my last name until they asked me what name I’d like to have on file. This small interaction meant the world to me. If you are at all worried about judgement when picking up your medications, this seems to be a safe space.

Absolutely love the helpful and timely advice I receive here. I've been a customer at this location on and off for nearly 2 years. Today, one young pharmacy student employee helped me work on a plan of care for a family member with dementia. I transferred all of my prescriptions here as I was floored that anybody behind the counter in this day and age could spend the time to sit with me and truly address the root of the concern. I believe his name started with an S and he works here every weekend - that is when I will be getting all of my prescriptions filled! This really made my day.

Good experience with the staff at the cosmetic section. Can’t remember her name but she was very polite and helpful!

The beauty specialist lady Anna is really engaging and down to earth and funny. She is really good at customer service.

The pharmacy staff at this location are so incredibly nice! They're always willing to answer my questions on the phone, and provide excellent service in and out of the store. Keep it up :)

They are always very fast when it comes to their pharmacy services and my daily meditation is always ready for me by the time I get there. Extremely professional and quick service.

SDM locations are like the town square in a medieval city. They offer everything: apothecary, Canada Post, City of Toronto Garbage Tags, stationery, groceries, make-up & fragrances and vaccines!
Keep in mind all the things you can find at your Shopper's Drug Mart.

If you are looking for the Canada post like me, it is at the 2nd floor. And there is an elevator at the west side.

Always got things in stock. Unless... There's a deal, than you'd wanna get there quick
