I had the pleasure of meeting the new owner Sandy, and she is such a sweetie! Had to let her know she is doing an amazing job! The store appears much cleaner and brighter, better organized and noticing a bunch of new products being brought in. I don’t mind paying a little more in exchange for a local small market experience and FREE parking.

Great little place to shop.
Always have what I need.
The place is nice and clean.
Veggies always look and feel fresh.

Staff are always friendly and their hot food section is great for a lazy last minute dinner!

I feel compelled to post what I witnessed this evening so the owner is aware and can address the matter to ensure their customers feel safe shopping there. A man (with a woman companion) screamed at a young cashier until the cashier finally started crying. As a regular customer there, I can say that this particular cashier is always so friendly, professional, and efficient so there was no reason for this horrific behavior. Eventually what appeared to be a manager came over and the man then started yelling at him as well. When I came on here to write this review I noticed a review from today and I'm wondering if this is one of the participants in the horrific display I saw. She claims she can't lift with her left arm and needed the cashier to bag her groceries because of this. But I'd like to know how she can get the bag of groceries off the counter and carry them to her car or home if she's not even able to put the items in the bag herself? If this is the woman that was part of the display I witnessed tonight and this is what they were tormenting the cashier about then that is absurd. I would strongly recommend you consider getting a security guard for the store so customers can feel safe shopping there, not to mention the staff. Most other grocery stores have a security guard so I'm surprised this one doesn't given some of the riff raff in the neighbourhood. I'm still giving a five-star because my issue is not with the store itself and I've always found the staff to be lovely. But please consider hiring security.

Amazing staff and prices too! Will be returning everytime I need groceries

This is my main grocery store in the beaches. It's small but highly functional and has good prices. The staff are always friendly too which is rare in my recent grocery store experiences.

Nice and clean store. Good selection

I never went in here cause I thought it'd be overpriced but it's really reasonable. And there's an awesome Deli in the back. Crazy tight in the isles so it'd be hectic if you went when it was busy but there's convenient parking on site so I'm glad it's on my radar. Way easier to pop in and grab something on the way home rather than go up to the fresco/Loblaws.

Don't forget you're paying for convenience Time is money and you don't have to go far if you're in the beaches

Really good, really simple sandwiches in the back. Choose your own breads and meats (I LOVE this), or get a crispy chicken Sammy (also yum). Decent price and very tasty. Their tabbouleh salad is so refreshing and delicious (esp when it’s fresh).

Conveniently close to my apt. It’s a small grocer so they’re clearly not gonna have the same quantity of selection as the huge Loblaws up at Vic Park and Gerard or down on Lakeshore or similar. But the new owners have done a great job making the store easier to get around and placed products in more logical places than it was before. And they’ve also increased their selection of organic products which I appreciate. They’re also very friendly, which I didn’t see as much of before. And the new lot looks great!

My favourite grocery store in the Beaches, has many items that the other stores in the neighbourhood don’t carry.

Whenever I’ve been, there’s always been someone at the door ready to assist with hand sanitizer and clean baskets. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

There’s no sense of disorganization or stress that’s often noticed at the other stores.

I love shopping here. I am always able to find what I'm looking for as compared to the big Loblaws at Leslie/Lakeshore which has very inconsistent stock levels. A grocery trip also takes half the time because of the smaller size of the store. The owners are friendly and very interested in customer feedback. Prices are reasonable for the neighbourhood.

What can I say it's a nice little grocery store. Abit expensive but like loblaws.
They do have great a hot counter and the food is exactly good .

I'm so impressed with how well this store has been servicing it's customers during the Covid 19 pandemic. Right from the start, the store implemented strict safety protocols and now, 3.5 months in to the pandemic, they continue to enforce them while other stores seem to be letting their safety measures slip. Not only have I felt safe shopping there, but the store has somehow managed to keep their inventory levels in better shape than the larger grocery stores. I even managed to get flour, frozen fruit and Lysol wipes when they were nowhere to be found anywhere else. On top of all that, the staff are always super friendly and helpful. Keep up the great work Dyson's Valumart!!

This store feels very homey and nice employees. Quality fresh food and always a treat to shop here.
