They always have a lot of different products coming in and it’s really well organized for how teeny it is since they pack a lot of products in there. Ask an associate if you can’t find the thing you need because sometimes it’s in a really obscure place. I don’t know how accessible I would consider the store because you have to weave all over but that’s the architect teams failure. Everyone in the store makes it work it feels like as best as possible. The front cash staff are lovely - even the self check out ladies, unheard of. I love the lady with the really nice nails, we have a laugh every time it’s really busy because she’s just such a good sport about people with bad attitudes. I’m glad she knows it’s a them thing and spreads positive energy instead of their grumpiness. She’s a gem and you can tell the team here are awesome. Recommend if you live nearby and are a student to go on Tuesday because it’s 10x the PC points with your student ID and it racks up fast if you use the app for extra point items which you can use to buy more food!

A supermarket at a convenient location and with a decent selection. They have some very interesting snacks in particular.
I like the atmosphere, the quality and variety of their products. Bakery is great, the cheese section is amazing, good and quality brands could match your drink in any event.

City Market in downtown Toronto offers a unique shopping experience with its uncommon layout. Always clean, though prices are somewhat inflated due to the location - typical for the downtown area. Despite that, it's a convenient option for local shopping with a flair that sets it apart.

Good quality food, located below Eataly. Prices are cheaper than Eataly, but definitely not cheap. Wide selection of meats, veggies, and bakery goods. It even has veggie alternative goods like beyond meats.

It happens that I visited this supermarket on 5 de Mayo and was pleasantly surprised by the festive atmosphere and delicious food offerings.

One of the highlights of my visit was trying their empanadas, which were absolutely delicious! They had a variety of fillings to choose from, and I couldn't resist trying a few different kinds. They were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly crispy on the outside.

In addition to the tasty empanadas, the store also had a great selection of Mexican potatoes chips and products, which made it easy to stock up on everything I needed for my own 5 de Mayo celebration at home.

Overall, I highly recommend this it for anyone looking to celebrate 5 de Mayo or simply looking for delicious food and a fun shopping experience. The empanadas alone are worth the visit.

The Bloor Street Market is located underground in the Manulife Centre. Their Rotisserie chicken is one of my weekly staples and I end up making a big pot of homemade soup afterwards. At the Market, their fruits 🍏🍎🍐🍊🍌🍒🍇🍓and vegetables 🥒🍅🫑🌽🧅, bakery and salad sections are always well stocked. 🥗🥙🫒🧄🥬🌶The Market is where we get our meat for BBQ season; burgers, 🍔hotdogs, 🌭 chicken breasts and sausages are on the grill. Outside of traditional condiments like ketchup, mustard and relishes, the Market has a selection of gourmet sauces and offers a huge variety of flavoured mayonnaises, mustards and bbq sauces. I have ordered a birthday cake here a few years back for my niece. 🎂 I wanted a picture of the koi fish on her cake (she’s a Pisces) and their machine to transfer pictures to cakes was broken. Their manager called me the next day to inform me they would be having the transfer machine fixed and I could come in the next day with my picture! My niece LOVED her cake and their bakery 🍞🥯🥐🥖🥨section is always full of freshly made pastries, cakes and tarts. 🍪🍩🎂🍰🧁Their lemon cake is Wendy’s favourite; we’ve tried the coconut cake as well as the chocolate hazelnut!! ❤Always well stocked, fresh, clean and lots of variety.🥚🧀🥓🧇

The store is great, but be very attentive to how they slice a prosciutto in Delhi meats and ask to show the very first slice. We recently asked for 300 grams and half of each slice was pure fat. Moreover they forgot to skin it. It’s the first time that I had such experience in that store, but still decided to bring it to your attention.

Small version of Loblaws. Good thing they offer Tuesdays discount for students....if you spend over 50$. They have Small version of carts too. Good service.

Wide variety of products, big big store located near Eataly, they have fresh food options too!

There are always items on sale in this store! On top of that, the variety of quality products with culinary diversity is amazing. The staff will go the extra mile to help you with anything you need and I love the cooked food bar at the front. There are also many 50% off daily deals that make a difference money wise too. The prices are much more reasonable than upstairs at Eataly. Let's keep in mind that Manulife Centre is prime Yorkville property and the convenience the store provides is also important! I love Maisie's store!

We have been very satisfied customers for over 20 years and shop regularly at Bloor St Market also known as City Market. It is a Loblaws franchise independently owned by Maisie de Sousa who is ‘hands on’ and brings in very fresh produce, and many products that you do not see at a regular Loblaws store. The store has an exceptional bakery and cheese boutique and many unique items which are not available at other grocery stores. There are many competitively priced items and local produce particularly during the summer months. We are very grateful for the quality of produce and products and the superior customer service provided.

It's really difficult to be a good supermarket today. Staffing is so tough in this industry and they are vital to a grocery retailers success. From my experience shopping here, the owner must be doing something right. There are staff everywhere, restocking, cleaning, assisting and servicing customers. Even the owner, petite and demure looking, is a dynamo who gets in on the action...😂 This place is packed, but it flows smoothly, in many ways...👍🤗

I come here very often now that I live in the complex, but I have known this store since the late 1980s. Do not be deceived by its size - I find that I have a better chance of finding what I want than I used to at Maple Leaf Gardens. Great selection of imported foods, compelling seasonal displays. Lots of interesting finds if you take the time to look everywhere. Very engaged owner who seems to be always around and cares about her store. For those who complain about prices and crowding: this is at Bay and Bloor.

Great Selection of Products, I have been shopping here for over 20 years. Staff here are excellent from the meat department, produce, Deli and bakery.

Great place to pickup premade or if you cook from scratch. I can tell that Maisie and her staff care about doing things right.

I have also found many items here from smaller vendors that I have not seen elsewhere. Well worth the visit.

Convenient location, prices are a bit higher but backed up by good quality.

Been going now for over 6 months and their variety of produce and unique products. The staff is very helpful and they also have a chef that cooks hot food for the hotcase. Give a try you will love it.

This place is wonderful for anyone who enjoys reality. Most negative reviews are without merit. Anyone who berates this should try working in the store during the holidays or multiple daily rush hours. The boss wants what's best for everyone, and sometimes that upsets other's. Walk a week in their shoes and you will have a different and better outlook on life and how to deal with every type of group. 99% of her work force are good people and remember " respect is not automatic, it should be earned" - George Carlin

Maisie, the store manager runs a tight ship. Spotlessly clean, beautifully merchandised and the staff are amazing. I have shopped here for more than 15 years (not even sure when I first shopped here, it has been that long!)

Lots of options and amazing prepared meals. I like to come here when I want a nutritious and tasty lunch. There is a big salad bar with both ethnic and simple dishes. Another bar area serves more cooked or fried meals. Lots of prepackaged snacks and lunches are available and everything is relatively affordable. A good way to save time and money by avoiding restaurants, while having the freedom to create your own meal. There are tables in the hallways of the building if you want to eat inside. Lots of grocery options too.
