Fresh 1 Market

This mini grocery store was surprisingly affordable and the fruits and veges are super fresh. The meat we’re cheaper than the big grocery store nearby, they always runs out of meat so plan to buy it before 5pm or it will all be gone. They have variety of international ingredients which I love. The garden center is my happy place 😊They had a good collection of succulents, annuals, perineals, herbs etc you gotta come to see it. The staff are very friendly too especially mom and the owner Vicky. See you around

Love this little veggie and fruit market. Prices are in line with a smaller operation but the quality of the produce is absolutely fantastic. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Worth the trip and the price 👌🏾

Huge array of international snacks, shelf and frozen foods, spices as well.
Tons of plants/seedlings on the side in the spring/summer/fall for planting if desired.
Great service, family keeps the store clean and tidy. Although shop is small and sometimes crowded on weekends, everyone is always kind.

We call it the fancy convenience store. Fruit and vegetables are fresh and ready to eat. Often local produce when in season.plus all the others typical convenience store items.

Stopped in today for the first time and bought some gorgeous local fruit ,Good selection and good prices especially on produce, surprising how much stock they are able to fit in a small store. Friendly staff, a great local alternative.

Fresh 1 is my favourite local market. Produce is always fresh and good quality, the flower market is awesome, prices are better than corporate grocers and for a small market, they have a lot of variety (and gluten free options!). To top it off, the staff is lovely.

This ideal tiny store seems to carry everything you need and more. Produce is always fresh, the staff is friendly and quick. Also has a lot of items not commonly available in larger grocery chains, all at an affordable price tag. Can't recommend this place enough for day to day needs and the odd treats.

Cheaper than Loblaws and local! They have an impressive variety of food for such a small store. Produce has always been super fresh, spices are affordable & the space is bright and cheery. Love grabbing my fruit (& sometimes flowers!) from here. Plus- the staff are really nice :)

The freshest fruits, vegetables and flowers for very reasonable prices. I started to buy all my produce here and could not be happier. As well, there is such a good variety of fun snacks, condiments and drinks.

There is a good selection of produce and pantry ingredients here. I like that they have harder to find Asian snacks and healthy alternatives. They also had some cut flowers and small succulents as well as larger potted and hanging plants and herbs. The woman working here was very friendly. We found everything we were shopping for plus extra- so pleased to have found this local market!

They have a lot of fresh vegetables and fruit with reasonable price. I tried the daily pressed juice and it tastes so good. The store is super clean and organized. Their staffs are also very friendly. I will come here more often!

This place is amazing. It has more than just fruits and vegetables. I love how they have so many random vegan options. You can also find some pretty good vegan cheeses in stock as well. I can always find what I need if I am missing something for an Asian recipe. They also sell a great selection of seeds from West Coast Seeds and Renee's Garden. Their plant selection in the spring/summer is great. They even have Venus flytraps for sale! Their little indoor plant section is small, but they really pack it in there. Sometimes I find really niche items you wouldn't find in any other grocery store (ex. Olipop soda). The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I love this store and will continue to shop here. I get too excited and have to limit my spending here, haha.

This is an amazing little market that couldn't be located better! Their produce is fresh, and cheaper than many of the grocery stores in the area. Not only is their selection surprisingly large, but the staff are so incredibly sweet. They take the time to really get to know their customers, and it's always a highlight of my day popping over and getting that warm greeting from the team. Do yourself a favour and check them out!

My absolute go to local market store on Queen West for most all my veggie needs and fruit requirements weekly.
This place carries a great array of choices and very affordable and comfortable prices.
Their pré cut veggies are a meal time saver for getting things done.
Staff is always cheerful and quick easy service always.
