The vegetables are very good quality and fresh. Very large selection of fresh and frozen meat, poultry and seafoods.
Price are very reasonable. Subway are accessible right under the building.

I loved this store because of well organized rows, great prices and great location.
My daughter fell in love with special cart (look at the photo).
By the way there are some small cart for children self shopping, as a adult one, you know 😅

Only one disappointed moment, when my 5 yo daughter said my she need to washroom immediately, I found out that the closest one in Timmy on the another floor with separate entrance 🤪

Comparatively cheap and affordable and moreover you get diverse varity of products from varies origins. Can get indian Chinese Korean groceries fruits and vegetables in reasonable quality.

Affordable prices. Variety to choose from. Easily accessible for all public and private transit users.

Food basics always delivers. Not forgetting their simple strategies marketing techniques like promotions and offers to attract customers is amazing as well

It is a nice place with a wide range of products. We did find a few Indian stuff here. Specially atta .
Also I was able to find a match box here (we Indians know how imp it is ) .I wish they had more Indian food Items.

Grand opening today. Hours posted. Finally waited all summer. Great location for a Food Basics. Opening at 8:00 am!! 👌 Very clean and organized store, unlike other food basics. Great selection and variety of fruits, vegetables, meats to dairy to frozen foods. Almost looks like a Longos.

It's my favorite grocery store. I love that it's not so crowded all the time, very clean store well stacked friendly staff .love when they have a sale, seeing that food prices are very high these days. Parking underground but a bit tight, so be mindful, especially if u drive an SUV

This location was not as good as the Burlington branch. Yong street is always busy. But all Food Basic shops are always great to visit and shopping. Good prices and variety of products. I recommend

Great Food Basics in the North York area. This location has free underground parking for 45 minutes. Can redeem parking by going to the kiosk by store entrance, or you can download HonkMobile app and scan the QR code. Also this location has child size carts for the little ones. My toddler loves their independence, so the little carts are great practice. The store itself has pretty fresh produce and meats. The staff keeps their store really clean and organize. Compared to other Food Basics nearby, this location is my favorite.

Love this food basics. The staff are very nice and helpful. They are only cold and distant to hostile customers which is totally understandable given the neighbourhood.
The self checkouts are attended and issues are resolved quickly. I accidentally double scanned an item and turned and an employee was right there after seeing the red light and I said “I double scanned I’m sorry” and she smiled and said “that’s ok. Happens all the time” looked at my scanned items and compared with the screen and quickly scanned her card and voided the extra item.

I liked my trips here (all three of them). For a Food Basics, I am very happy with cleanliness, quality of produce, and prices. Staff at the self-checkout are helpful and are ready to assist.

I live in the close vicinity to this store so I shop there often. It has awesome weekly discounts and a variety of daily needed products. However, my 👍 this time goes to Omar, the store manager. He is one of the nicest and most helpful people I had the opportunity to meet in Food basic stores all around the city. Kudos to him. Keep up the good work!

I recently had the opportunity to shop at Food Basics grocery store and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the wide selection of products available. They seemed to have everything I needed, and at very competitive prices.

One of the things I love most about Food Basics is the fresh produce. The fruit and vegetables were all in excellent condition, and I was able to find everything I needed for my recipes. The store also has a very good selection of products in general, and I was able to find everything I needed in one stop.

Another thing I appreciated about Food Basics is the free parking. It was convenient to be able to park close to the store, especially on a busy shopping day. The store is also in a very convenient location, which made it easy for me to get to and from the store.

Very clean, very helpful and friendly staff. Also product selection is above average for this brand of store.
Easy access by car, bus and subway. Great to have them only one subway stop away. Also the food court on main floor is amazing. What a variety and selection. Bonus the LCBO is also on the same floor as the store.

So they have free parking at the parking garbage, it’ directly below the grocery, you have to go down to the basement, they don’t have signs of showing you where to park, once you are park, by the grocery entrance, there is a machine to put down your parking plate number, 45 mins maximum parking time, free of charge..

This store is getting better with having the drinks and iced coffee on the shelf... The ASTRO yogurt tub is very nice. The staff at the cashier is very friendly.

Love this store on Poyntz Avenue. Produce is fresh. Prics great as well as selection. It is on the second floor, and carts dont go far enough to unload to taxi. Had to transfer a quite distance from the elevator by hand.

Food price is much more reasonable in this high inflationary times. My weekly grocery bill of near 200 is cut by almost half compared to Loblaws Bayview.
