From store owners: If declining your IOU is rude then I am sorry for that. I have in the past given you credit multiple times, and yet I am always the one to have to mention to you about past owings. The one time I declined to give you a credit does not make me rude. You ask for credit and try to get money off your total but unfortunately that is something I can't do any longer. As you said, I am a new owner, which means I do not know you personally nor have you been a longtime customer of mine. I can't give every single person a credit of some kind or else I couldn't run my business. All my other customers pay their totals in full.

I find it quite disheartening to read this review when I know it's not truthful. It says a lot about the type of person this might be. I recently took over this store and have poured my heart and soul into it and do nothing but be kind to all my customers. It's sad that there are people who would skew the truth to make it look good in their favour. I care about my local customers very much and I hope that in the future you can see that. We try very hard to cater to our locals and do our best to keep our prices fair and competitive, given the current inflationary period.

The old owners may have given her the IOU's. Just because we don't want to sell on credit, that doesn't make us bad people. I find it quite ironic that you call us rude, when it's you who is taking the time out of their day to leave a deceitful and quite honestly hurtful review. We are just like everyone else, trying to make a living in this crazy world.

Lovely owners, they keep their store stocked with all the essentials for a fair price. I will never not buy a bag of sour keys at the front for 25 cents.

New owners. Seem to be nice. High, very high prices remain the issue. Has no competition as store one block away closed permanently. Can very much charge any amount....take it or go elsewhere.

The new owners raised the price of all the items! Old owners used to sell cans of coke for $1!! Check the dates on items too. Lots of expired products.

New owners took over and have jacked the prices considerably. Very rude to the customers. It's a local convenience store, and they should understand that the locals are their bread and butter.
