Summerhill Market - Annex

This is the most interesting grocery store in Toronto. A lot of choice for a medium sized market. Homemade products, the best local brands, a fast and friendly payment counter. I wish there was something similar in Montréal.

This location is mobility accessible. They have a wonderful selection of already made meals and sides. The ready made items can be on the expensive side, however, you are getting great quality for the price. You can also purchase Keto items here in the bakery. If you have not been to this location it is well worth it. The produce selection is always presented well and really fresh. They also have a selection of things you can not find at other stores.
**Tip: there is parking behind the store

So many nice things in this store from smaller vendors that can’t get shelf space in the big box stores. They also cut small pieces of cheese, meat, fish for those 1-2 person households. I’m always spying the shelves for what’s new like this Tahitian Treat which is a blast from the past for this 70s child. 😆 💥 🥤

a pricier spot to shop but i love popping over here for last min necessities since i live in the neighborhood. staff is always friendly. they often have 1/2 priced items in the bakery section, premade sandwiches and prepped meals, which i love finding!

This has been a go to place for food and groceries with plenty of freshly prepared food that all hits the spot. There's primarily fresh grocery, in- house pre-made meals, salads, curries, noodle dishes, pot pies, and locally crafted stuff. It's not a discount store although they do put things up to 50% off if you're lucky enough to find it.

First, lets address the fact that this is a boutique and independent grocery store chain. Their prices are higher than larger grocery franchises, but they have also not participated in the price gouging that's taken hold across the major grocery chains across Canada. It's a breath of fresh air to shop at Summerhill Market, where the pricing and quality has remained steady all these years.

On that topic, the quality of all their items (produce, meat, prepared food, bakery, packaged) are all consistently higher than than anything you would find at bigger franchises. Produce, in particular, have prices that may only be 10% or 20% more expensive than other grocers, but are measurably larger, fresher, and more delicious.

The staff at this location have greeted me and my family on sight, and are always happy to help.

Summerhill Market is my favourite grocery store in Toronto for sure. It can be expensive, but it's worth it because their produce is always fresh and delicious, and they carry tons of healthy options.

Wide selection of prepared foods. I've tried many dishes and enjoyed them. The layout of the store is good. The young girl (evening cashier) is always friendly and cheerful - great customer service!

Very fun store, they have one of the better selections of non-alcoholic beverages at various prices (not just the super expensive kind). Staff at the front / the ones that answer the phones are extremely helpful and frequently and check on stock each of the times I’ve called ahead before making the drive out!
Only tried the Beckett’s brand so far - and it’s great, the gin and tonics are my favourite. 2nd visit so far and the store has unique items not available elsewhere, which is perfect including its location.

Its is exceptionally clean, neat, fresh and always an adventure in trend and taste. Pricey? Yes. Excellent service? Yes. Not a discount grocer, but does not pretend to be. Parking is usually easy. Go explore!

Great staff! Beautiful store! Walked in and bought a Generous and delicious Turkey dinner easily fed TWO people for $31.99!!!!

It's not cheap, but the quality and variety of products and fresh fruit and veggies it carries will meet most needs. One of its strengths is its pre-prepared dishes, from Italian to Asian and just about every cuisine in between. Even if I tried I'd be hard pressed to match their quality and taste! Love this store.

Pretty, upscale grocery store with an assortment of unique products, condiments, foods, bakery items, fresh flowers and gifts. The chicken pot pies are infamous and, like many of their other prepared foods, are conveniently available fresh or frozen. I visited the location on Bathurst and the staff was friendly and helpful. The store has a nice aesthetic and is well designed. It is not overly large making it easy for a quick in and out or to enjoy browsing. I really like their grocery carts! They are light weight, roll smoothly and the perfect the size for moving through the aisles. Parking is available for customers and a large exterior sign will direct you to it. The store is accessible as there are no steps. Online ordering for delivery or pick up. They are known for their catered meals and platters for entertaining.

Always love the prepared food and very good quality quantity and price

It’s definitely expensive so not for the big grocery shops but the quality and variety are awesome! They carry many varieties of specialty items and the produce always stay’s fresh. The staff is always friendly too. It’s not only mine but many of my friends favourite place to grab things for get togethers, charcuterie boards and dinners. Also the cheese selection is soo fresh and yummy 😊 5 stars is well deserved

Clean and bright inside with a great selection of local and in-house made dishes! I love picking up their cinnamon buns for breakfast and checking out their wide selection of ready to eat dishes. Such a small detail but I also really love their smaller sized rolling carts because they're so much easier to navigate than the hand carts and they're perfectly sized for the store.

really great spot to pick up a few well made healthy prepared meals to add to the weekly meal menu. Helps manage the cooking sometimes with a fast paced lifestyle. One of their salads is absolutely amazing and has like 4 portions in it

Fantastic online service for shopping and delivery - within 2 hours. Selection of house made products and clean brands is best in the city.
