Hartery's Family Restaurant

I had the two piece fish and chips. The fish had a very light coating of batter, not what you'd normally expect for deep fried fish, but was delicious because of it. The fries were cooked just the way I like them and I tried an onion ring which was also really good.

The staff is always pleasant and efficient. The food is yummy, although, I've only ever been there for breakfast.
Best place in town for sure.

I believe I've rated Hartery's before, but I am again because I noticed something. The breakfast was huge!. As for the atmosphere, it's a cozy spot yet has tables available for larger gatherings. I've only ever eaten breakfast there.

Loved this spot! Delicious food. Breakfast, lunches and dinner. The quality is always excellent. Really welcoming.

New owners so i am told and the food was much better than it was a couple of years ago. Very tasty , reasonably priced and good portions. A great mix of everything including local favorites and seafood.

I tried the roast beef dinner, my wife had a burger with salad. The value was exceptional, as was the service, staff and the meal. A must try restaurant, highly recommend.

We came in a little late, about 15 minutes before closing time. We all ordered fresh cod fish sandwiches with potatoes and the food was delicious! On our way out we struck up a conversation with the owner and he was the nicest, warm-hearted guy we've met on our trip. These are the kind of experiences you remember years later after the trip has ended.

Great family friendly restaurant. Our picky kids easily found options (on and off the kids menu). Super friendly amd helpful service and the food was very tasty.

As an OTR driver stuck here over the Thanksgiving weekend, this place is a godsend!! I’ve eaten in restaurants all across this beautiful country and the food here was top shelf!! Hot, good size portions and very very tasty. Wouldn’t hesitate for a split second to come back next time I’m here.

Excellent food. The were excellent at accommodating my high protein low carb diet. I had prime rib one night and pork chops another. Both were awesome. Our waitress was also amazing and a truly hard worker. We hop you get you car soon!!!

The cheeseburger was amazing! So tasty and fresh! And the fries were so golden and crisp. The only thing I would change was the can of pop... Should be fountain pop for that price.

Some of the best food in the Stephenville Area. Dinning room starting to feel dated.

Delicious meal! Good value for the money, (which one of the people I was dining with paid, but whatever,) I had the hot turkey dinner and the others in the party had deep fried fish and chips! Everyone lished it down likety-split and walked away happy! Highly recommend!

No pop machine, so you buy each can. Decently priced, a family of 5 ate for under $100! A staple if you are in the area.

Cozy spot, service is friendly, quality of food is scrumptious. I Would definitely recommend if you want a good home cooked meal.
