I stopped there for the day and on my way to the ferry in Channel-Port-aux-Basques.

I must say that it is a beautiful provincial park, really peaceful and well maintained.

Wonderful campsites and lakes. You have everything you need and it is clean.

Enjoy nature. ❤

Day tripper. No mosquitoes today!! Beautiful hike up Erin mountain. 2.5 hours all in. Water was refreshing and warm shower before we left. Beautiful lake and camping spot!

Absolutely stunning park (But bring your bug spray). Lots of sites, some with plenty privacy and others not but it wasn’t very busy considering it was beautiful. The staff were super friendly as well. Apparently the hiking is incredible and once our toddlers are a bit bigger, we will definitely be checking that out.

First visit there last week. Peaceful, quiet park with beautiful vistas. Park staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will go again for sure.

When the wind blows cold at Black Bank, take White’s Road to Barachois Park. Perfect place for supper on the camp stove while a moose chews water lilies over the pond.

One of the nicest provincial parks in Newfoundland and Labrador. Bring fly repellant. Showers on site . Option to buy firewood or to bring your own . You must book online , this park fills up during the summer so it's recommended to book early .

Great hike up Erins Mountain and BBQ after. Lots of black flies today so bring the repellent!

A great starting point to see Newfoundland after the ferry crossing. About two north of the Port. Great camping sites along the lake. No serviced sites (eg water, power or sewer) but fresh water available on arrival. Wildlife abundant - moose, birds, frogs and beaver about. Climb Mt Erin, just spectacular. Phone service on site is sketchy and no wifi, just lovely camping.

this is now my number 1 go to. I absolutely love this park and Stephenville is handy to get supplies. also plenty of hiking trails and fishing. If I was going for a season pass this would be my home.

Beautiful park, awesome trail. No hookups and no cell signal so be prepared for some off grid camping.

Really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful park staff. The campground was full when we got there, but we were able to stay in the overflow area which was also next to the lake and had running water close by. Warm lake. Great for paddling.

Awesome place to spend a day with kids, and if you want to hike up to Erin mountain. We also biked along the park road (didn't camp there).

Beautiful Park. RVs and tents allowed. Lots of sites close to water and can swim and fish. No electricity hook up though, must bring a generator for power

Amazing campground. Very friendly staff. Lots of wildlife encounters (the cute kind, not the scary kind). Worth the trip.
