Ducky’s Diner

I recently had lunch at Ducky's Diner, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish.

First of all, I ordered their clubhouse sandwich with fresh cut fries, and I have to say, it was nothing short of amazing. The clubhouse sandwich was not only delicious but also incredibly substantial - it was huge! The combination of crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, tomato, and perfectly cooked chicken between layers of soft bread made for a mouthwatering delight. And those fresh cut fries? Simply superb! Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, they were the perfect accompaniment to the sandwich.

One thing I truly appreciated about Ducky's Diner was the ample parking space. It's always a relief to find a restaurant with convenient parking, and Ducky's certainly delivered on that front.

But what really set Ducky's Diner apart was the service. The staff was attentive and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. They were quick to take my order and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my meal. It's clear that they prioritize customer satisfaction.

I highly recommend Ducky's Diner to anyone looking for a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience.

Well gotta admit after being a little disappointed in dinner due to price not service or food the breakfast was absolutely amazing!!!

Last night had a chicken sandwich with no fries and mozzarella sticks it was 35 bucks with a tip for the great service it was 40. Seemed really steep but delicious. So dinner I give it 4 stars.

Now the breakfast. Amazing portion! Amazing food. Real eggs and potatoes. Good bacon and fries chicken just amazing.

So as an average it's a 5 star and I'll be here for many more breakfasts!

So glad we were able to stop here for dinner. The food here is amazing! Service was a little slow but they were very busy when we got there. They were very quick with getting us our orders. Their mozza sticks are made in house and so good. I usually like them with marinara but when I tried them with their housemade ranch, that's all I dipped them in! Their Big Quack burger is their take on a Big Mac and oh my, is it ever delicious. Also tried their Clearwater Club sandwich - also tasty. If you are nearby and are hungry, this is a must.

Ducky's Diner you had me at 2 PLY TOILET PAPER!! I haven't eaten at a local restaurant that made me feel so welcomed. We felt like we were eating at a family gathering. In a good way. The BEST food for your hard earned money!! The waitress/cook made sure we were enjoying every bite. Without feeling invaded by them. The portions were enough for us to travel our remaining 5 hours WITHOUT having to stop to eat or even reach for those munchies. The food is uniquely named and very tasty. If you looking for something outstanding you MUST STOP and see Ducky's Diner for yourself!!

Great place to stop for a bite to eat. Locally owned and operated by a friendly younger gentleman.
Waitress was friendly and polite, and she made great suggestions.

Stopped in again for a takeout.
Once again, the food was very tasty.
They forgot some of the order.
They did get back to me regarding this, and they were very willing to rectify the mistake.

Don’t judge a book by its cover- this place is currently under construction for their patio, and is right next to a major truck stop. WOW the burgers were incredible! They mean what they say in the description as JUICY. If you’re all about the sauce you won’t be disappointed! I am always a bit skeptical when there isn’t a real website and the menu is a single 8.5x11 laminated page. But holy cow the food, service, and the art on the walls was wonderful!

The railway salad and club is always my go to, salads, burgers sandwhiches are mouth watering. The fries are fresh cut daily, mozza stix are made per order. Best home cooked food

Ordered a fried chicken sandwich with fries. Both seasoned well, sandwich had a ton of pickles, the spicy option is Frank's and the batter wasn't too heavy. Order ahead it took about 30m to be ready but worth the wait! My only regret was not ordering the side of fries, I should've ordered the large. Next time

The service was great. We had the kids hamburger plate. Chicken sandwich crispy chicken strip. It was all tasty hot fresh delicious and big portions.

This place is so amazing ... Great ambiance and the staff work so well together ... So helpful and accommodating for the glutin intolerant too! ... As i was getting options for making sure my meal would be glutin free, the cook said hey we just happened to change the oil in the fryer and have GF flour so i got to try the railroad salad as intended. Was so tasty!

During our RV trip Vancouver to Newfoundland and return, we sought out eateries that are not chains. Driving eastward we discovered Ducky’s in Nipigon . Awesome breakfast - eggs benny done to perfection and enough to energize all day. 3 months later on return drive, made a point of stopping here for lunch. Fabulous clubhouse sandwich with generous chunks of fresh bbq chicken (graced with a delicious herb rub), smoked beef, bacon, wonderfully dressed with sauces. Side of sliced potatoes deep fried (novel and tasty alternative to the usual french fries). Wife Sue had “Looking for Nemo” tuna melt sandwich on rye. Absolutely delicious! Discovered she had just been served the first of this new menu item. Green salad fresh and tasty. Portions were large, so we boxed half and finished it for dinner on the road. Ducky’s is currently upgrading decor with interesting country items such as antlers, a wonderful little fishing boat, and other funky artifacts. It should become not only a great place for food, but for conversation. We may not have another opportunity to enjoy visiting them, but highly recommend that you do, if you want friendly service, good prices, and great food.

Driving across Canada? Car in need of repair? Stranded in Nipigon or better yet, staying in town on your own accord? Please do yourself a favour and visit Cory at Ducky’s Diner. The food, the ambiance, the location, all wonderful. I got the Dear Julia burger and ate it down by the marina! Go here. Just do it!

Awesome service! Food was made from scratch and definitely fresh! Fried Chicken Poutine is a definite comfort meal, just delectable! Burgers are big and juicy! Fresh cut homemade fries were amazing!! Thank you so much!

The servings are huge!
When traveling we burn less calories, so as a woman, I can easily make one plate into 2 meals!
Also, delicious. I had supper here last night and ordered the triple decker grilled cheese. And this morning is the huevos rancheros 👌🤌

I was suggested this place by the Red Rock Inn where I was staying for the night and it did not disappoint. I had the spicy fried chicken sandwich (I believe it was called something chief). Which was absolutely delicious! Staff is super friendly and accommodating as well.

Great stop for me on the circle tour. Great service and good breakfast filled me up for the day on the motorcycle. We had a great chat and I would stop again.

The small restaurant peaked my interest with its outside decor but damn did it blow my mind once we got our food.

Arriving late I wasn't overly picky, just wanted to be able to sit down and enjoy a hot meal.
The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything needed during our time there.
The food was delicious and even ordering right before closing didn't impact that.

You can tell they strive to give everybody an amazing experience. Will definitely be recommending this place to anyone I can. Fabulous job guys 👏👏

We decided to do take-out because of COVID. Everything was still AMAZING.

Great value, rich flavours, and generous portions.

My boyfriend has been all over the south, and still thought Ducky’s fried chicken was some of the best he’s ever had.

We had the special Easter meals. Everything from the Caesar salad to the dessert of lemon poppyseed sticky buns were phenomenal.

An essential stop if you’re driving across Ontario or in the area.

Some of the best food along the trans Canada highway. I had the fries chicken poutine with buffalo sauce and omg, to die for. The server was the sweetest gal ☺. I'm driving thru Canada so the likelyhood of being able to return soon is low, but I wish I could. Highly recommend you stop here. Absolutely delicious
