Le Crêpe Chignon

Loved this place! The food and service were outstanding! Note, if you want to go, make a reservation if you want to eat inside. We arrived at lunch time without a reservation and was told it was a 90 minute wait. But they had a couple of small tables outside, and when we asked about those we were seated immediately. My friend ordered the Lord Blue crepe with ham, spinach, apples, blue cheese and cheese sauce. I ordered the salmon Benedict with smoked salmon, asparagus, a sunnyside egg and hollandaise wrapped in a crepe. Both came with a delicious chickpea salad. Both crepes were incredible. The only disappointment were the raspberry muffins I got to go. They were super heavy and dense.

bustling place with antique decor. I was blown away by the portion size as well as the quality of the food for a low price. It offers a great bang for the buck dining experience. I got the crepe "la totale" as well as the american breakfast "le retapeur".
The crepe is filled with chocolate spread enriched with raspberry and bananas as well as cream. The texture of the crepe is crunchy at first then it becomes soft and chewy. "le retapeur" had well toasted bread, tasteful eggs, quality cheese and a light strawberry/raspberry sauce. The service was very friendly and accommodating.

I had the pleasure of dining at this amazing restaurant that left me utterly delighted. The mouth-watering crepes they serve are a true culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor. Nice little place to enjoy delicious crepes. They are vegan friendly as you you can "create your own". Their menu has savory as well as sweet items so it caters to both crowds. COVID measures are in place and followed here.

The service was friendly & quick and the food here is amazing! My husband and I both got a savoury crepe for dinner and a dessert crepe for dessert. The vegetarian & vegan options are also highly appreciated!

I like le crepe a lot, the smoked duck with cranberry salsa sauce, tasty, fresh and healthy. Even the salad tasted so good

Came here during our visit to Rimouski due to the positive reviews. Did not disappoint! We came a bit earlier than the Sunday brunch rush, luckily we were seated right away since it filled up pretty quickly!

We ordered one sweet, and one savoury crepe. Both were delicious. We would certainly come back if we are ever in the area.

Staff were friendly, they took note and were very considerate that we are primarily English speaking and asked if we would prefer an English menu!

Great overall experience

Le Crêpe Chignon is a good savory Crepe place. Their Vegetarian Lentils crepe is a must try. The crepe comes with a chickpea salad/curry which goes so well with the crepe. This place also a has a nice different kind of an ambience.

Crêpes, crêpes and more crêpes! Great selection of creative combinations (and you can make your own) coupled with a cozy atmosphere makes this a must-eat in Rimouski!

I tried the vegetarian crepe, Bombay crepe, the sweet crepe, nachos and quesadillas. It was very delicious. The staff was helpful and spoke English as well.

Really great food. This one was for my friend's kid. A nice way to get their attention.

This place is a gem. Our kids were a little hesitant as they just love crepes for dessert. But once they had it as a meal they were sold. Great quality food and friendly service we stopped to eat around 4:30 and wasn’t too busy. Got lucky though as the do take reservations so book ahead to be safe.

This place was recommended to us. It was excellent. Go hungry. The portions are large. We had the hot goat cheese appitizer, the lamb crepe and the seafood crepe. All very good. The lamb was the favorite amongst us. So glad we came. My husband wasn't excited about going for crepes , but he was so glad we did. The atmosphere was nice. The service outstanding. Even though we were stuffed, we took desert home to eat later.

Kind and friendly service that is hard to find anymore. Our server was fantastic. I hope we get to visit again.

We had the seafood and the duck crepes. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Would recommend and would go back anytime.

Place was packed at 9am. Kinda tells you how popular (and delicious!) It is. A MUST GO for your breakfast/lunch/munch and run needs

Delicious crepes (soup and nachos too). The staff is nice, in a warm and meaningful way, they offered to let my daughter taste the soup since she didn't Know if she would like it! Talk about service.) The ambiance is causy as well. I would say that the only downside is that you have to make a reservation if you want to be sure to have a place on busy days.

The food and the atmosphere are great. We stayed here for a late lunch. The service might be a bit slow. I would come back again if I visit the area.

When I was reading reviews of people raving about this place I thought we need to check it out. I'm glad we did! After a long hot day at Canyon de l'enfer, we drove here for a bite. The crepes were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was very pleasant and staff was very friendly. Definitely would go back and recommend to come here if you are in a beautiful Rimouski. Thank you!
