Great Wall Tea

Their tea wall originally caught my eye and I stopped to get a cup. It was probably some of the best I’ve ever had! The Vanilla Almond Rooibos is so delicious. Sweet, nutty and creamy. I got it with oat milk and I think she might’ve added vanilla sweetener, plus lots of honey on my behalf 😅. She also
frothed the milk and now I can’t imagine a tea latte without doing so! I also got the seasonal flavour of Fall for Nuts (herbal) and Toast (green) and cannot wait to try them. Everything was so graciously gifted ☺. I will definitely be back to support this business and hope to visit their Lougheed location as well.

Love their customer service, their staff is always so helpful! They put so much effort into properly explaining their product and waiting with patience for your choice. Today's tender did an awesome job suggesting teas for different people and dedicating enough time to all of us. She was extra nice to my kids too, who were amazed by her makeup and the stickers she gave them. From a very stressed mom, thank you for making my morning!

Just received my package from an order I placed online for Great Wall Tea, so many lovely personal touches! They had top notch customer service when I messed up a part of the order. Their blends seem very thoughtfully put together with high quality tea that have fun additions without any synthetic flavourings. My favourite loose leaf tea in the lower mainland by far, very excited I don't have to wait until going out to New West to get more!!

We stumbled into this tea shop when we first moved to new Westminster 3 years ago, we saw the tea options on the walls and decided to stop by and give it a try and my wife and have visited the tea shop almost every month ever since. All our experiences have been nothing but pleasant, recently decided to order the tea online and have recieved the tea package today, not only did they came nicely packaged, our tea packager (Sam) have left us a cute note along with 3 tea sample bag for us to try! Highly recommended, great service, great staff, great tea, and great price!

None of their team is artificial. Ask for the ingredient list and you can prove it to yourself. And it is a BC company!! I had tea at their new Lougheed Town Centre store. The Matcha Latte is the BEST in the city, bar none.

Visited Great Wall Tea for the first time today and had a really great experience! It was busy when I arrived but the salesperson Amari attended to every customer and they all left happy, many with multiple purchases! I was impressed by their menu and selection of loose leaf teas and thought the prices were very reasonable. I decided to purchase a mini bag of an Oolong tea called Iron Goddess of Mercy just to try it out because I thought it sounded cool, but turns out it actually tastes really nice too. Super cute local business in a cozy and trendy spot, will definitely be returning to try new flavours! Thanks for the great service and delicious tea.

They're so awesome, they have a lot of amazing teas and the lady working the till, can't remember her name, was super kind and gave a lot of great suggestions for tea to try.

The peach apricot tea they had makes an excellent iced tea, steep 2 teabags (4-6 spoons of loose tea) in a large pitchar for 6 hours and it's super flavorful and refreshing and doesn't need sugar. If you steep to long it could get a bitterness but don't worry, a teaspoon of sugar in the cup completely nullifies it. It's also good served with sugar if you want a sweet tea!

Many options of high quality classic teas and blend teas. I buy loose teas but definitely love that I can buy just a cup of hot or iced tea.

The best local tea place! They have a wide variety of high quality loose leaf teas, and they also make great to go teas and tea lattes! The service is fantastic, everyone is super friendly. I met one of the owners (Jimmy) today and he is lovely. Highly recommend a visit!

Amazing service!!!! Jimmy was so nice, attentive, helpful, and kind. Will definitely go back. They are super environmentally friendly (bio degradable straws! And all paper cups! No added flavours or any harmful ingredients). I bought the super awesome tea and coffee to go cup and he gave me 50g of tea for free 😊 love places like this!

Great tea selection at excellent prices. Can’t wait to try my new teas. I like that they have a couple fun flavoured teas but have a really solid collection of classic teas and blends.

This has the best creme earl grey tea I’ve ever had. Actually that is the only drink I’ve had whenever i go there. It’s that good. Really friendly owner and can buy in bulk as well. Nice place.

I live in the great white North and although we have a lovely selection of local harvested tea, it's quite small, and there aren't many other options of loose leaf tea (without artificial flavouring) - I ordered a variety online, was called immediately when one of the options I selected was sold out and was offered a different option at the same price - and was also gifted a couple of samples as well. Very grateful to the free shipping with larger orders, as shipping costs are usually an issue living up here. The postcard with a hand written note was also heartwarming. The Vanilla Creme and Peach Apricot are full of flavour and not too overpowering like some teas - highly recommend, and looking forward to trying the rest! One of the best and most inviting tea shops I've ever been to! The staff were all very polite and helpful and they even recommended me a new tea flavour that I love! Try the fuzzy peach tea, it's delicious!

Super cute store with a great selection of teas and a friendly staff. Jimmy and team are absolutely stellar! My faves are the Waterfront Organic herbal and the Peach Apricot black.

Always friendly staff with a large selection of loose leaf teas. I get tea pretty much every time I come here and they have a really great selection of cold and hot drinks you can choose from that are customizable in sweetness and ice etc. They have seasonal flavors and also sell equipment for making tea/cups.

Great prices, helpful staff and quality product. The kambaa black tea from Kenya is my favorite, but I've never been disappointed with any blends or traditional teas I've tried from them! I'm always excited to see what new seasonals they may come out with too. Highly recommend for all your loose leaf tea needs!
