Really impressed by the customer service provided by the owner Joe. Trying to meet a deadline on a Sunday during Covid lock down... Joe went the extra mile (he was out of stock) by somehow locating 5 gallons of Benjamin Moore ceiling paint in a dark tint for a matt black ceiling. Really nice professional gentleman. No surprise he's been in business for 50 years... great stuff. Thanks Joe!

The older gentleman is very knowledgeable and helpful. I think he’s the owner but I showed him pictures of my project and he came up with solutions to issues I didn’t even know I would run into. Very helpful, especially when you’re a novice painter.

Great service and great products. You will find all your painting needs under one roof. The staff are very knowledgeable, welcoming and helpful. I went right at the closing time and they kept the store open and patiently and professionally helped me with all my painting needs. I was surprised there was a sale on as it wasn't indicated on their website. Call if you're wanting to purchase on sale. There may be an unadvertised promo if you're lucky.

In the middle of a pandemic, the customer service I received from Dixie Paint and Wallpaper, was outstanding! The manager, Steve, was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and well informed about my purchase. Will definitely use them again!

What a great experience. The Paint is the best paint you can ever get. I had the whole house repainted because the other paints didn't even compare. But the service especially from Joe was amazing and they delivered all my paint for free. Keep up the good job guys. Your service is as high of quality as the paint is.

Let me tell you - wanted to paint my warehouse floor. Joe the owner came to my shop the next day to see the shape of my concrete floor and options.

I got the paint the quality and coverage was amazing. I was low on paint. Needed 1 more can to complete the floor. Called the office at 7:15pm on a Friday. Store closed at 7pm.

An authentic paint shop, run by authentic people. Really enjoyed the conversation with the staff there, and the pro-tips on the large job I was tackling. Product knowledge and recommendations were spot-on, and the level of service was top-notch. In Toronto, it's great (and unfortunately rare) to encounter service with a smile like this, and knowledgeable people that take the time to know you, and know your project.

Bonus Pro-tip for long review readers undertaking stain projects: Use a product that penetrates vs. forming a protective film as maintenance down the road with film-type stains requires full re-sanding, vs. a simple clean & re-coat for penetrants.

Best paint shop in town!

My father has a painting company for more than 20 years and all I can remember is when I was young and Joe [owner] would give me chocolates and juice. I love this place and so does my father and they always provide excellent services and the staff is very polite and well trained I wouldn’t go to any other Benjamin Moore location.

Great customer service, good paint selection and paint quality. There's a young guy who helped me who was really great. I think his name is Brandwan. Would recommend and plan to return if i need more paint and supplies.

Service was above and beyond! The first time in when there I only spent $30 plus annoyed them by asking a million questions but they treated me like i spent $10,000. Now this is the paint and supply shop I recommend everyone go to. Knowledgeable staff with amazing service. Ones of the only stores in the GTA tha stock large selection of the Penoffin product line and colours. You can catch Joe the owner there daily, he's a super knowledgeable and friendly guy. I love supporting stores like this one, with onwers that genuinely care about their customers.

I came in to try and match a wood stain for a piece of bullnose I was installing. I left them a can of stain that was pretty close to what I wanted and they tinted it to an exact match. When I went to go pick it up they didn't even charge me. Great customer service. I will definitely come back to buy paint here on my next project.
