The Locks Perth

During our recent visit to town to see family, we stumbled upon The Locks, and what a delightful find it turned out to be! We opted to dine on the patio, which provided a serene atmosphere for a relaxing evening. The service was impeccable, and the food surpassed our expectations. The menu offered a diverse selection, and each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail. The ambiance of the restaurant, nestled in a quiet and charming location, added to the overall experience. If our schedule allows, we'll definitely be returning this week; if not, we'll be sure to make it a priority on our next trip to town. Thank you, The Locks, for a memorable dining experience!

I visited this restaurant with my wife and some friends. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. This was top notch cuisine. The salad was very tasty. I also had the salmon with the maple sauce and it was amazing. The waitress was also very friendly. This is a must visit restaurant, if you are in the Perth area. I will have to visit it again very soon.

Stayed at the Beat Western and had dinner at the Locks Perth. The night we were there we were lucky and they had a live musician playing during dinner. Really added to the ambiance of the evening.

The food is delicious, service is friendly the decor is beautiful and there is a good selection of menu items.

Breakfast is served in the adjacent room to the Locks. Breakfast was good as well.

We loved our dinner from the locks on Saturday (July 23) my husband got the Atlantic Salmon, he was surprised about liking the sweet potatoe mash ( he's doesn't usually like sweet potatoes) he was extremely happy with his meal 😁😁 I had a small size ceaser salad, it was delicious, but my favorite part of my meal was the Flatbread Bruschetta, it's the best bruchetta I have ever had!! We also loved that the inside dinning had AC, especially on a hot day from walking around down town, and all of the staff were super friendly, excellent customer service, the restaurant is very beautiful.

Great ambiance, excellent food, good selection food and drink, great menu with price ranges for all, friendly, attentive, helpful staff. The vibe of this place is great. The waterfall garden at the entrance is a very nice touch. Classy place without a classy price.

Staying at the best western. Went fir breakfast at 7:30am. Had coffee with egg breakfast (2 scrambled eggs, bacon, brown toast, home fries, and fruit garnish) service was quick and efficient. Food was great!

Second time here. The first time was with work last summer after we finished our job. Dining outside was superb. This time, I stayed in the simplicity of burgers & their "The Locks Smokey Bacon Cheeseburger" was one of the best, if not the best burger I ever had. I usually get steak at places like this, but when I return to this restaurant (I will without a doubt!), it will be hard not to get the burger again. This burger should be famous, and that's not an exaggeration. Service was great; a delightful blonde young lady gave me my cheque and my food, which I had to wait for a little. Granted, I was early, as usual. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing. I really wished that we were able to dine inside. There was only one group in the dining area since it was Good Friday. Presumably a tradition of theirs (considering starting this myself!). It is beautiful inside and out, and the food they serve here is mouth watering. I've been looking for "my restaurant" ever since Heartwood in Combermere closed their doors, and I think I may have found it.

A beautiful restaurant! Service was attentive and excellent. The food was very well done, and I really liked the nice live music to have a nice dinner with. Highly recommended and will definitely be back.

Stayed @ Best Western in Perth ON for a kids hockey tourney. The restaurant was the nicest BW restaurants I have seen (upscale). The Locks Rest. was accommodating and gave us a custom Kids Menu w/ Great Prices. The adults had a nice meal too. Must try Crab Cakes and the Locks Burger. Nice Local beer Selection too!

My daughter had her wedding there on Oct 21 2023. Everything was absolutely perfect. The staff couldn't have done more for us to make the day perfect. Everyone from the hotel staff to the wait staff were incredible! The ladies bartending the reception were top notch. I think they had as much fun as the guests did.
Great job and thank you. Would highly recommend this establishment.

Really surprised that this gem was in a Best Western. This BW was amazing btw. Whole new level! Beautiful dining room with gas fireplace and wonderful Xmas decs. My bf had the chicken special with lobster sauce and wild grains rice. Amazing. I had the scallops and cauliflower bites. Perfectly done and great presentation and portions. Service was attentive and very friendly. Don't miss this spot!!!

Lots of light, enjoyed the menu, our meals were good. They were nice enough to let us share the deserts.

We choose The Locks Restaurant as our venue for our wedding this May 2023. The whole experience from the first meeting to after the wedding had been anything but exceptional. Lindsay and Janet were helpful in the planning process and Ryan the chief was on point and amazing with the food that was served. We couldn't have been happier. We are so grateful for everything that was done throughout this process, they were accommodating and helpful with everything. They were so patient and understanding, all my questions and mind changes.
The Wedding Day was amazing, everything was so perfect. From the ceremony in the park right beside the locks, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing everything was perfect. Lindsay & Ryan and their staff were amazing. They were always patient and one step ahead and it made a huge difference for us and our stress level, they took it all away and we enjoyed all the moments our day had to offer. I really can't thank everyone enough for helping us make our day so perfect.

We chose The Locks as our venue for our brunch wedding, and could not be happier with how everything went, the level of service, as well as the value for money. From the moment we first met with Lindsay (and Janet from Best Western Perth) we immediately felt like they cared just as much as we did about making our day special. Given the uniqueness of a brunch wedding, Lindsay made sure everything went flawlessly, including the amazing set up of our wedding on the day. Ryan and the team in the kitchen also prepared amazing food for our buffet, that some of our guests are still talking about! The fact that we went from planning to the day of in 5 months, with minimal stress was amazing. Lindsay had full wedding planners done and was so incredibly patient and organized. We also must thank the owner Kim for allowing us to have our two big dogs in our ceremony, it meant the world to us, and the staff were so unbelievable patient as we tried to keep them calm in the wedding party waiting area. We also had a somewhat informal rehearsal dinner as well, which was just as great, with the same excellent level of service. We will likely pop back into The Locks for a meal next time we are in Perth.

On route to Ottawa and stopped for dinner en route. What a great stop in Perth! Excellent service, an awesome steak and a beer flight from Perth Brewery!
Worth a visit.

Dined here a few weeks ago. Service was great, food was great, atmosphere was great! Cannot wait to go back!

The patio is absolutely beautiful, had a quick coffee there. The stuff is lovely, the server brew fresh coffee especially for me. Hope to try the food next time!

We held a private family event at The Locks recently, and the team outdid themselves. This is the second event we've had there, and once again, Lindsay made everything smooth and easy, Ryan did a fantastic job with the food, and Sherry and her team made us feel welcome and well taken care of. Our guests commented on how beautifully everything was run, how friendly all the staff were, and how good the food was. The Locks is the perfect venue for any event, and the staff are truly the A-Team! Thank you!

This was an excellent discovery while trying to find food in Perth after 8pm on a Sunday evening. The food was excellent and the hostess and waitress were likewise fantastic. In the end we didn't just find food, we found an unexpected special night out.

We had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely amazing, as was the service. They had live music, which was terrific. It was a lovely upscale restaurantand a great evening out.
