Enjoyed a wonderful anniversary dinner here, compliments of our kids. Even the gift certificate card is lovely! We were fortunate to have a nice evening to be able to sit outside under the pretty lights.
A large display board with interesting cocktails tempted us to start, and we shared a delicious tuna tartar appetizer. I had the shrimp stew with fantastic fennel flavors (wished it had a few more green olives, which I love). My husband had the seafood with shrimp risotto, also delicious. We topped the evening off by sharing a Creme Brule, easily the best I've ever tasted. To-die-for rich flavors of cardamom and orange. Oh, YUM!
Our server, Marcela, was delightful. Sadly, totally run off her feet, with no assistance from the folks inside. The service door is very poorly set up so she had to make sure it didn't completely close or she was locked out. Which did happen. And awkward for her to get in and out without having to put dishes down to open the door. I felt badly for her, and hence only four stars for service, not at all her fault.
She was cheerful, helpful, and friendly. Kudos! We'll be back!

Must try! This small Italian bistro is absolutely amazing. Dishes made from scratch, so don’t expect rushed, unflavoured food. Zero complaints, hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in years. Great service too.

Bistro 54 came highly recommended by locals and visitors alike and they were not wrong. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and chose here for dinner. COVID-19 protocols were in full measure, wait staff wearing masks, tables closed off to maintain distancing, etc. Our server was very friendly and attentive, helping us decide what to order. She even made our desserts complementary and added candles to help us celebrate! We had a table next to the kitchen and we could see through the window. The kitchen ran like a well oiled machine, staff looked cheerful and worked well in such a small space.

The food was amazing. We started with the smoked duck pizza appetizer, which was a great starter size. I wish they would make this a full size, I could eat this all day. My wife had chicken parmesan and I had the salmon, both were cooked perfectly and tasted great. We finished with creme brule and a chocolate brownie for desserts. What an incredible time, we will consider eating here again for special occasions. The meal was just over $100 for the two of us so it is not inexpensive, but well worth it for special occasions.

I had the most delicious duck pizza. Unique and so tasty.
Also the spaghetti had an interesting aftertaste I liked and the waitress was kind enough to divulge it was a hint of cinnamon. I will try that next time I make a pasta dish.

Wonderful service, fantastic fresh food. Italian ambience! We sat under the twinkling lights of the patio. Close your eyes, taste the food and let the music transport you to Venice.

Absolutely the best place to eat in Perth. The outdoor patio was relaxing, music playing in the background and twinkle lights. Our server was amazing and the food....no words, simply amazing. Support local, support small business!

We had dinner here with friends who have literally dined all over the world, including Italy — he was a commercial airline pilot — and they loved it. The food was beyond delicious, the service delightful, the outdoor patio was gorgeous. My only tiny quibble is that the restaurant interior is… black. Nice lighting, but maybe a bit of decor to match the elegance of the food?

My fiancée and I discovered Bistro 54 in November 2017.

We live in Campbellford but routinely plan trips to Perth for the sole purpose of going to Bistro 54.

Dave and Nicky are wonderful hosts. They are personable and professional. Their staff are excellent, as well. Particularly, Marcella, is a terrific server.

Dave is the head chef. He has a wealth of knowledge regarding food.

This Italian restaurant has a great Parisian vibe. It is a comfortable setting. It is a romantic place.

All of the food and wine are spectacular. To highlight a few:

1. Creamy seafood Gamberi pasta;
2. Zesty gazpacho soup; and
3. Garlicy/cheesy Bolognese.

We dined at Bistro 54 last Friday and Saturday. We sat at the table in front of the kitchen, under the glass window. This is by far the best table in the restaurant. Our meals were delicious. Service was attentive and excellent.

Bistro 54 is an essential part of the Perth community. If you are at a cottage or travelling near Perth, you have got to eat at Bistro 54.

Insider tip: ask for the garlic loaf.

Such a beautiful and intimate restaurant. Perfect for the ones who are allergic to nuts. Vegetarian options are delicious as well!

Absolutely love the summer outdoor dining atmosphere. Reminds us of Italy and Europe eating al fresco! Has become our favorite place in Perth, Ontario for a great meal.

This is one classy place with great food. Perhaps the best food in Perth. Every dish my family and I ordered was cooked to perfection. Bistro 54 also has a great selection of wines to choose from. This is a fabulous spot for a date, celebration, or any type of night out. Yummy!

Outstanding dinner - appetizers, main courses, and dessert. Friendly and helpful staff. Window in to the kitchen shows cleanliness standards that clearly reflect the general philosophy. Truly, a restaurant that could fit in downtown Toronto or Montreal, but with prices less than half what you'd find there. Highly recommend.

Food that you won't find anywhere else except Italy..and I have been to Italy! Sweet restaurant, warm service, excellent chef. Calm and relaxing atmosphere in limited seatings allows gourmets to truly enjoy and experience every flavour and nuance of the food and amazing wine selection!

Bistro 54 is one the best restaurant in Perth, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! The food is amazing, and the menu offers an excellent selection of dishes that will leave you wanting more. Great atmosphere!
The staff is attentive, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to make your dining experience memorable. Overall, Bistro 54 is a must-visit restaurant, and I can't wait to come back for another fantastic meal!

Wow. Just wow. This gem clearly doesn’t need another 5-star review but they’re getting one anyway. Our group of seven celebrated a birthday here last night. Half of us drove an hour from Ottawa to meet the other half of the group who drove 30 minutes. WORTH every minute of the drive. The food was unbelievable. Hands down the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had. The pasta was perfectly cooked and everyone looked like they were in heaven from the first bite. Our server was exceptional. Wish I got her name.

Of course we will be back. A++

Great dining experience at Bistro 54. Although they didn't have everything on the meal, the risotto was excellent.
