I enjoy this gem of a spot with my family regularly. The owners are very kind.

Quality home style baked goods, with simple but very tasty ingredients. No frozen food truck food here.

It is easily accessible and has lots of parking. Rustic theme with well-made decor. Kid friendly. An altogether great location to visit regularly with inside and outside areas.

I very much enjoy the extra care they put into service and presentation. Their fresh sourdough sells out super quick, and their pies are heavenly with flavor instead of just sugar.

This is a place you need to try! Food,service, atmosphere, is all awesome, but the Kootenay Kreme donuts... They wake up all kinds of sensations when you get a model in your mouth. So if you see someone sitting there staring blankly into space while slowly chewing with a grin on their face, that's probably what they're eating!🥹

Mountain Barn Bakery is one of my favourite stops here in Creston. The glazed donuts are the best I’ve ever had, along with the sandwiches on homemade bread. The coffee is excellent too! The warm, inviting atmosphere and friendly staff make every visit a pleasure! Thanks guys for being so awesome😄

Such a cute place! Not only do they have amazing food and coffee but also a variety of goods such as soap, aprons and kitchenware. I am so glad I was able to visit. And definitely get a cinnamon bun!

This was an excellent stop on our road trip. Excellent homemade food and great service. We went with our newborn and it was a welcoming environment for breastfeeding as well. They have a drive thru if you’re in a hurry!

My boyfriend and I discovered this place as we were driving past it on the way to a honey farm. We knew we would have to stop on the way back and we were so glad we did. The coffee and pie were absolutely delicious and the prices were very reasonable. So yummy! We would definitely go back.

Friendly and accommodating their customers. Had a cinnamon, sugar donut in the morning, that was lighter than air. Ŵanted to buy a pumpkin pie, but they didn't have any. They said they would make me a pumpkin pie and to pick it up in the afternoon on my way back to Creston. Both the donut and pumpkin pie were amazing. Delicious. Definitely going back to try their lunch items. Mennonite girls definitely can cook. Thank you.

Everything here is primo. Their glazed donut is magical and the sourdough bread is dynamite. The staff are thoughtful and kind.💗 The broccoli soup is the best in the Kootenays .

Best bakery we've found in Creston! This place was reccomended to us by our airbnb hosts and we couldn't have been more impressed. The potato bacon soup was some of the best I've ever had and the glazed doughnuts were phenomenal. They have a great selection of coffees as well. Everyone there was super friendly and the vibe was so cozy and welcoming. All I wish is that I could have tried their pies. Can't wait to come back on our next trip to Creston!

Great local place to stop for coffee and some fresh baked good, we really like everything they sell. I recommend you take one of the loafs of fresh bread home, fantastic. They offer a variety of Espresso beverages as well. The women running this place are fantastic they do a great job and make you want to come back.

Nothing better than the smell of a fresh baked loaf of bread in your vehicle on the way home to smother it in butter and homemade jam.

This is the BEST cinnamon buns and donuts! The cinnamon buns have a nice gooey sauce, and the donut has a soft chewy texture. You must try it! The best kept secret of Creston!

Impressively filling sandwhich, perfectly crafted on delightfully light bread. Love that you can just go in and order "sandwhich". Bathroom is comfortable and clean. Feels like the sink water is trickling down directly from the mountains. The drink selection is also excellent. Taxidermy selection for sale at reasonable prices too.

I don't want anyone to know about this place...but I can't gate keep this place.
How do you manage to have the best cinnamon rolls AND donuts in the WORLD!?? My neighbours buy each other a donut if any of us go to Creston.

This place was fantastic! Food was beyond delicious. The decor was great. We loved the old fashioned sink in the ladies bathroom. Western type decor for sale on the walls was superb.

This friendly restaurant bakery has the best biscuits and gravy, and the best cinnamon buns, we have ever eaten. And we’ve eaten a lot of both! The coffee is also very good and the prices are bargains. And as a fillip: screamingly far Wi-Fi! Would prefer metal forks over plastic ware but not going to kvetch. This is the real deal.

Best donuts I've had anywhere in Canada. Honey glaze donuts aren't usually my thing, but these were incredible. Every bite was bursting with a rich depth of flavour and wonderful textures.

Everything we ate here was very good. We had borscht, potato soup, and their sandwiches. But I have to say their donuts were the absolute best I've ever tasted. We had 1 of each kind, and they were all amazing. The ladies were all so kind and hard working and the restaurant was very clean and organized. I hope we have the chance to go again.
