R.A.'s Place Restaurant

This place made my day. My girlfriend and I were happily greeted the moment we walked in and just saw the size of the donuts and deserts. We then had a menu tour from R.A himself (voice impressions and all for the names) and we knew we were about to have some good food. It was absolutely delicious and just put a smile on both of our faces. The branding is fantastic and you can tell there is much thought and care put into the restaurant, even down to the owner writing notes of order request that he would later incorporate into the menu.

What a lovely place to come across by happenstance.

My experience at RA’s was fantastic. I saw a clean kitchen, friendly staff and lots of options on the menu, all in all this is a great business model. I got the chance to speak to the owner “RA” and he was a very cool dude. I highly recommend RA’s! Thanks for a great lunch, I’m stuffed!

First time visit today, had the poutine as a try out got it to share with my wife. It was amazing the portion was perfect to share and filling. The gravy is on POINT and the cheese curds are melted perfect. Great eats for sure and I will be going back!! Cheers

Can not recommend this place enough, they were so nice! The atmosphere is amazing and fun and super family friendly. The desserts are incredible, the food is delicious especially the cheep cheep bites (chicken nuggets) with their unique spice blend. It's family owned and they are still training staff so it's not the fastest place but it's so worth the wait and the owners are truely amazing people. Will be back!!

Absolutely a place to stop for. The restaurant itself is very cozy and makes you feel comfortable right away. The staff, and RA himself, are very friendly, attentive and caring not only about their food, but about your experience as a customer. The food was amazing, both myself and my girlfriend loved everything from the pita, to the poutine and especially the carrot cake. We'll absolutely be back and love that we have a place this good, so close to home! A few favourites of ours were the Fries (the best home style fry I’ve ever had, for sure) the falafel (was amazing and so full of flavour) the buffalo chicken poutine (I would buy that chicken just on its own, it was so good; and way better than any fast food joint) and their carrot cake (which was so moist, and had the best choice of fruits). I just can’t recommend it enough.

Our favourite pita and poutine place we’ve been to!!! The ingredients are fresh and delicious. The staff is amazing. They really do care about the quality of the food they are serving! They have a cozy little seating area. I would recommend you run, don’t walks get your fill of some of the best food Ayr has to offer!

Great food and amazing portions. Everything tastes really great, especially the poutine. It might be the best poutine in the region. Wraps are excellent and he has a huge assortment of types and even desserts. Staff are always friendly and he employs local kids and contributes to our local economy. Well worth supporting this gem!

So yummy! The staff are very friendly and helpful, the pitas are very generously filled, not to mention delicious. The poutine is absolutely loaded with curds and not totally drenched in gravy so it's not just mushy fries. Highly recommend!

Take any opportunity you can to stop in at this gem. Poutine is on point! Perfect balance and not shy on the curds! Great atmosphere with a warm and welcoming staff. It's definitely worth a try, and if you do, you will definitely be back!!

Excellant! Delicious food, very large servings with lots of optional toppings, all for a great price. All the staff, including the owner R.A. are very friendly, welcoming and give suggestions with what toppings go best with your choice. My husband had the jerk chicken combo and I had the slouvaki combo. The home cut fries are the best anywhere. The restaurant is very clean, with a bright and relaxed atmosphere. Audrey.

I've been to RA's quite a few times and it's always been great. Good food, good service, and it's always nice to chat with the super friendly owner while waiting for my order. I highly recommend it to everyone, as it's my family's go to spot in Ayr.

Delicious food! Falafel pitas are a favourite of mine, have tried them in many places and RAs has the best! My son, who does not like fries, absolutely loves RAs fries! Highly recommend!

Been to Ra's a good couple times now and every time the food and service has been top notch.

The staff is always very friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming.

Placed my first order for pickup today for our office and Ra made it quickly and very well. Everyone loved it.

I visit Ayr from Brantford for my girlfriend and everytime I'm here I go to R.A.'s for a poutine and Pita, iv never been disappointed, if you're lucky the owner is there and makes the experience 100x better. I highly recommend, Quality food, great portions for cost and perfect customer care. Pita 10/10 poutine 10/10

Wife and I wanted to try the food here for awhile. DID NOT disappoint!! The staff were friendly, patient and helpful!! The owner was there and he was very friendly and welcoming!! Will definitely go again!!

Was recommended by a trusty friend - WOW. Great food, friendly staff, super music and got to speak with the owner outside afterwards - VERY FRIENDLY. Will be back when we are next in the area.

We had a poutine. Delicious. The fries are so good. I have not had fries like that since my grandma. The amount of gravey and curds were perfect. The service was very friendly. I do think that they could benefit from a few more indoor seating.
