Great little shop with excellent customer service, all staff are a treat to talk with and very knowledgeable on the products. If your looking for board games, magic cards or other table top products, definitly check this place out

The owner was there and when he goes to all the cards that I had he was very patient and honest and told me to hang on to certain cards because he would become more valuable but he did buy some wallpaper for 80% small stores that's unheard of. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the games that he sold.

Truly love this store. Shaun, Alex and Dante are all friendly and helpful people that you can have a good conversation with. At some other places I've felt the staff was anti-social but I always feel welcome and I'm never afraid to ask a question. A great experience and I always make sure to stop by whenever I'm in town.

Grey Guardian Games is a great local shop that caters to my needs as a customer and the staff there are very polite, friendly and knowledgeable about their products. I definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for comics, action figures, D&D sets, etc.

The friendliest and most helpful staff. I am there for Magic tournaments every so often, and it's a very welcoming store. They have a pretty large selection for a small store. The prices are very fair. I cannot wait to see it once the renovations are complete!

The staff at Grey Gurdian Games are beyond helpful. After greeting me upon entry they spent an hour sitting down with me to explain a variety of games that fit the criteria I was looking for. They genuinely listened to my interests and knew what clarification questions to ask. They gave awesome recommendations based on what I wanted and their personal experience.The staff was friendly and never tried to push a sale. They even told me to hold off on my purchase for a few days because it was going to go on sale. The store itself is welcoming, clean and organized. I will definitely be recommending this store to anyone looking for games

Visited for the first time today and picked up some MTG and Pokémon cards. Wonderful staff, friendly environment. Highly recommend!

I order my comics from here and it's an absolute life saver for new releases, especially single issue comics. Also love that the owner is willing to do special orders on stuff he doesn't have on hand and will do a files for customers to keep track of their ongoing series. There've been many times when I've missed a release and G3 ends up letting me know my comics are in before I even realize that the issue is out. Super reliable, recommended for any comic collector.

Great store with friendly and welcoming staff. Everything you could need for board/card games including mats, cards, playing pieces and dice. The tournaments and magic nights are open to everyone and it's easy for beginners to join in. Awesome community!

The staff here are fantastic. Really kind and know what they're talking about. They were happy to discuss games and previous experience, to determine the best purchase. I will definitely be returning as I already have.

Been going here a long time. Back when it was Jeff's Cards and comics, it sucked, bad. If you ordered something you'd be lucky to get it. Most of the time, my mom had to drive me to oshawa to get anything I ordered because it would never show up at Jeff's. However since the switch from Jeff's to Grey Guardian Games, they've slowly and steadily been improving. To be honest I mainly go for comics, and I understand it's a game store first, but it is also, the only comic store still open in town. Oh AND.... The prices are more than fair.

- Nice layout, I wasn't squeezing through small aisles and having my space invaded
- Awesome little area upstairs to crack packs and check out your new purchases or pay a game or three
- Ridiculously friendly shop owner/ staff. Have you ever been to a store that sells trading cards or board games, and there seems to exist between you (the new player) and them (the established hobbyists) a barrier of knowledge? In many cases, these people will behave like gatekeepers and make the new hobby somewhat intimidating. That does not happen at Grey Guardian Games, I felt very welcome and the person working there was happy to help.

Cannot stress how much I would recommend this place if you are in the area. Would give 6 stars if it was possible.

Store is clean, well lit, and the staff are friendly and efficient. The focus of the store seems to be around card and table top board games. Also plenty of comic books and graphic novel type literature is available as well. They seem to be nearly finished renovations with exception of the washroom.

Went in to buy an expansion for dominion. Even though there was a tournament going on and the employee was busy, they were very friendly and knowledgeable with the questions I had. Highly recommend this spot for anyone thinking about getting into board games or cards.
