Staff is always friendly and upbeat.

I have many food sensitivities and the frozen sourdough pizza dough is amazing! It does not irritate my stomach and even the kids like it too.
I’ve made it into small dinner rolls also which were delicious.

A must stop if your a local or even driving through Markdale. The baguettes are also incredible.
Recently had some cinnamon buns made out of sourdough and they were absolutely incredible!!
Butter tarts are literally melt in your mouth delicious.

Amazing in every way possible! The breads (rosemary and sea salt is my go to) and baked goods are sublime (coconut cream pie anyone?) but I want to talk about the meals here. Julia, and Chef Josh, formerly of the Flying Spatula, create incredible meals, soups, sandwiches, and my new favourite, gourmet pizzas (deep dish and traditional) - all of which can be made veg friendly. Out front, Dora is quick with a smile and is the perfect compliment to everything great at Brilliant. They will be moving from Flesherton to Markdale at the end of May 2020 but I will continue to make the drive as they serve food as good as you can get anywhere.

We ordered plain white and rosemary bread ahead of time for Saturday pickup. Picked up some unique cheeses while we were there. All were delicious and enjoyed. The two women in the shop were very friendly. We returned to the bakery this summer. It has moved into the main intersection of Flesherton.

My son and I got the Montreal smoked meat sandwich on their soughdough and it was absolutely delicious! We also got a pretzel and confetti square to share which were also to die for.
We will definitely be coming back for more!

Amazing sandwiches! Best sourdough bread! What a find! We were so so happy to find this place when we were passing through on our bicycles. We will be back very soon!! The staff are super friendly and the bread and treats are delicious!

Sour dough is the best I’ve ever had. Muffins are also spectacular.

Coconut cream pie was fabulous! We also enjoyed the rye bread, empanadas and hello glory square.

Possibly the best sugar and spice doughnut I've ever had. Crispy exterior, with a perfectly moist cakey interior. 10/10 would eat again and again.

Found this gem of a place on a road trip after trying multiple towns to find something gluten free that I could eat! Everyone was super friendly and the sandwiches were *chefs kiss*. Wish we lived closer so I could come here every day!

Absolutely fantastic place! Everything we have tried so hard has been incredibly delicious. The bread is so soft, the croissants are so buttery and flakey. The quiche OMG no words. I could go on but this would turn out to be a rather lengthy review. I highly suggest making your way into brilliant bread and trying out some of their many amazing delights.

Definitely a destination spot on any trip.

While passing through Eugenia recently, we stopped in at Brilliant Bread and were fortunate to meet Julia, who was busy kneading.
After giving us the directions we asked for and selling us a loaf of light rye, she asked "do you like French toast?"
When we assured her we did, she insisted we take a cranberry loaf (no charge) which she said was day old and would be perfect the next day if we used it for French toast. She was right! It was the best we've ever made! Thanks Julia, we'll be back

Brilliant bread put together 60 lunches for an event , the bread was baked that morning and it was fantastic , we have had many compliments on that lunch , thank you

The staff are always friendly and their freshly baked bread really is brilliant! Great spot to grab a sandwich or salad for lunch. Be sure to grab a sweet treat while you are there.

Their rosemary sea salt bread is amazing. I thought nothing could top it until I tried the apple cranberry bread. The staff is always helpful and friendly and their new location is beautiful.

My mouth waters for this bread! So flavourful and delicious. Had their doughnuts last time, the coconut and the sugar...best doughnuts I've ever had! They put the chain doughnut stores to shame.

Excellent bakery, the sandwich that I had was exceptional. Must try their sea salt and rosemary bread so good!
