Vanilla Leaf Bakery Café

Little bakery in Driftwood center. Their display is full of tantalizing delicious baked goods. We purchased cinnamon buns, chocolate chip cookies and sourdough bread, they were all delicious but cinnamon buns were my favourite.
They also have some savoury items.

Had the opportunity to talk with the Pastry Chef owner of the cafe. She had several vegan and Gluten free options as well as regular pastries. The cafe also serves sandwiches, soups and has excellent coffee.
Also worth noting, the vegan cupcakes had the best "buttercream" icing I've ever had and I am not a vegan!

Cinnamon buns, ready made sandwiches, fresh bread and too many delicious treats to list. Indoor dining and some really nice benches on the grassy courtyard. An easy walk from Port Browning. Marina a must visit for your breakfast treats.

This quaint, cozy little bakery is easily found in the mall right across from the most central access entrance to the parking lot right before one gets to the Copper Otter restaurant… Two of the front staff employees here, Yoko and Jensen, with their warm, charming and effervescent demeanors, do a wonderful job of assisting one in wading through the myriad of choices of so many deliciously yummy items to eat here… Be that one of the generously sized, freshly made sandwiches or wraps, hearty soups, healthy breads, or any of the colourful and varied flavours of sweet treats available here. The staff making everything back in the kitchen do an amazing job…There are also a whole host of hot or cold drinks available made with care by the front staff as well…cakes and pies are available for special occasions….Not a day goes by that I do not partake in spending some of my time here at the bakery near the central grassy courtyard in the mall… see you tomorrow!

Lovely Café with super lovely staff. We enjoyed our delicious coffee and baked goods! Cinnamon bun was amazing. Took fresh turnovers to go. Can't wait to eat them later!

Fantastic bakery/cafe on Pender Island that's privately run and definitely delivers when it comes to service and quality of any beverages or freshly baked food, be it pastries, desserts or sandwiches using bread that's straight out of the oven. 👌

Excellent sweet and savory baked goods and espresso options to satisfy all breakfast cravings. We visited two consecutive mornings, and not just because the island's options are limited, but because I'd pick this place with it's great selection and quality no matter the competition.

Huge variety of baked goods, never disappointed when trying something new. Lots of sweet and savory GF and vegan options.

Super cool little place. First time on Pender and glad there's a nice spot like this to come and enjoy a delicious coffee and do some work on my computer.

Staff is very friendly and the foods look delicious and I'll hopefully try them soon enough.

Fantastic little cafe on Pender Island. Have a great variety of drinks, food, bread, pie and even ice cream! I'd recommend trying their Iced Cappuccino, it was excellent. They also offer free WiFi. If you're on Pender, defintiely give this place a try.

My friend and I came here on a bike trip from Vancouver and I was so happy to see all the sweet and savory vegan options! Everything I tried was super fresh and tasty. Will definitely come back next time I am on Pender.

Great coffee shop, plenty of options for baked goods, makes it hard to decide at times. Vegetarian and gluten-free options. Was rather busy, but the line moves fast.

Lots of Beautiful Vegan Treats~ However vegan date Brownie I had was a bit too salty, so with Less sodium, it would taste a lot better!
