Pocket Heart Cafe

The owner might be the nicest owner of a cafe that I have ever met. Yes I said it, EVER MET. She gave me a free cookie. I love cookies. My dad got a coffee and he said that it was great. Also the coffee was so cheap compared to Starbucks. GO HERE!

An absolutely amazing place to go in town! I felt like I was having a home cooked meal from a friend. The owner is such a sweetheart, I can't wait to go back again! :)

When I was young: soup? bleh. Take it or leave it. Not something to get excited about. My opinion has changed after 50, soup is far more exciting.

But if I had discovered this place in my 20s life might have been different. Aileen will convert you to a soup aficionado. Her soups are fantastic.
Also cookies and sandwiches but I haven't tried those.

There are coffee shops. There are sandwich shops. Then, there is This place. I cannot emphasize this enough: even though every thing she makes is delicious and hand-made… the real reason to attend is the ineffable atmosphere. It’s impossible not to love this place, because it is a temple dedicated to Kindness.

There is a different soup of the day… a wide variety of cookies, tarts, and cupcakes… there are occasional surprises… but they are always pleasant and satisfying.

You really must come. Experience Serene-i-tea.

Such a friendly owner with delicious, great quality soups and cupcakes. Definitely a favourite spot in Fort McMurray!!!
