Montana’s BBQ & Bar

The staff are very polite and welcoming, the food is excellent, the ambience is great. This particular Montana's is one of the better ones I've been to in Canada, and that is wonderful as I believe it is the only one in Fort McMurray. One dish I always mostly go for is the Honkin' Beef Rib, however do not attempt this meal if you have gout.

We ordered a steak sandwich TO-GO (for work lunch), when when we initially ordered our meal.

Took over 30 mins to get our meal.

When we asked for the bill...no steak sandwich meal ready...they said it was coming out in 5 mins. We had to wait for 25 mins (after paying our $140 bill), to get the steak sandwich meal.

Not even a discount.

It was a 2hr visit that I wish I could take back.

Very unhappy.

☆However, I will go there again, because their Double-Dusted Wings (Mild) are amazing.

The food is always delicious! Our kids always wanted to eat at this place and have fun drawing on the table! Celebrated our birthdays and anniversaries at this place many times or even when we crave for steaks or ribs is our go-to place! Montana’s has always been a part of us! Janet was amazing and she made sure that every thing is great and taken care of! Definitely highly recommended! 5 stars and more!!!

Amazing waitess MJ was so sweet caring and fast service. We have gotten engaged,My daughters 23rd bday and tonight this was a very important night to celebrate for my husband to be and myself and MJ made our night a great night the food was great the service was fast and very tasty I will celebrate every special occasion and highly recommend for everyone who wants to spend there special occasions there also see you again and thanks for our server MJ

We always order the cheesy fajitas and the spinach dip. Omg i don't even know if the names were right hahah

The service is a bit lacking. We have to even ask for cutlery after food is served. Then we have to ask for paper towels. Out of 5 people they gave 2 towels. Food was good though. Some training required

We brought our team of 20+ and our server was awesome. Very organized with individual bills and didn't have to ask"who had this" just remembered where everything was supposed to go. Very great team meal experience. Food was great Atwell.

Wow Kenedi was our server and she was awesome. Friendly, smiling, positive, upbeat...she made our experience so much Fun! Food was fantastic, exceeded our expectations!!

Food is always good but waitress needs to be clear about what comes with the meal and what is considered extra. Also they need to make customers aware if there are any extra charges. Rather than receiving a surprise charge on the bill

My family ate here tonight. Courtney was our server. She was sweet and made sure we had everything we needed.

Went to grab a quick bite the other night. The highlight was having MJ as my server. She was very nice and gave great service. I enjoyed myself :)

Excellent service at Montana's with Janet!! A great Friday night dinner!

Came here for lunch and dinner while in town for work. Lunch was reasonably priced, filling and tasty! Service good at the bar, terrible country music playing thought.
Dinner was reasonable, unfortunately somehow when I opened it , was partially on the cooler side even though I picked it up right at the time it came out of the kitchen. Compared to the smittys, I would 100% come back to Montannas.
(Side note, 49 cents to fry bread for the spinach dip is an insane upcharge for throwing it in the deepfry)

I came here for the first time, visiting from the US and had the pleasure of being helped by MJ. MJ was very helpful, great listener and attentive and paid attention to what I needed during my meal and visit. This is a great place to grab a meal and a drink. Also, the food was great. The Canadian Burger was delicious. As a former bartender and service industry warrior, I give this place and MJ 5 stars.

Kem was our server tonight and did a fantastic job! He was attentive and provided great service. The momma’s lemonade is an absolute must-try when you visit here!

What a great experience! The food was awesome, we got the lunch combos and it was the perfect portion! We had Nick as a server and he was fantastic, definitely the best service we have had in a long time! He made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us multiple times. Thanks Nick for the amazing service, we will definitely be back!
