Seaside Snack Shack

Stopped here before going to Mahone Bay and decided to try their lobster rolls, and I'm so glad we did! The lobster rolls were both generous in lobster meat and so tasty! There was a small waiting line when we arrived and now I know why! It also gives you the chance to take in a beautiful view of Mahone Bay. Worth the stop!

Friendly Service, great views of the 3 churches in Mahone Bay, scrumptious lobster rolls and some of the best Moon Mist (grape, banana and bubble gum flavors) icecream in Nova Scotia. Also recommend the blueberry cheesecake flavor.
Met the owners dad who had stopped by for his lobster roll and icecream for Father's day. Enjoyed chatting with him (Yes he is a Blue Jay's fan)
Their scoops are generous and offer some of the best value of a double scoop and waffle cone in all of Nova Scotia.
Will visit again In a heart beat. Wish they had Moon Mist icecream in Ontario

They're good but they do NOT have the lobster rolls as of July 2023! Very sad to see them go. Great ice cream however!

The best place we've discovered in Mahone Bay for ice cream and lobster rolls. Large serving sizes and inexpensive prices. Ice cream flavours change occasionally and may sell out if you leave it too late. There are several picnic tables with postcard views of the Three Churches across the street. Parking usually isn't a problem. Highly recommended!!

Great little spot to grab an ice cream. Run by student entrepreneurs who are doing a great job! They’ve added a BBQ selling hot dogs. You can even get a lobster roll, if you like. Support local youth and enjoy the view while you visit.

Staff is super friendly, the lobster rolls and hotdogs are fantastic. Definitely going to be a regular stop in for us.

Great family vibe. Food was amazing from the lobster to the sausage then finished with ice cream. A perfect storm.

Open later than most places along the South Shore which is perfect for post dinner desert on the way home! Thank you for staying open and for the ice cream 🍦❤

It's not a trip to Mahone Bay without stopping for icecream from here. it's a must try for sure

Try the Salted Walnut Carmel....it's creamy thick and filled with mouth watering pieces of sweet walnuts ... simply delicious.

Huge scoops, waffle cones are the way to go.

A nice spot to stop for a quick bite and ice cream. They even have “pup cup” ice cream for the dogs. Very friendly staff.
