Talk about a small town gem!! Amazing staff, delicious desserts, and they are always so happy when I bring my dogs in to say hi. And don't even get me started on the cheesecakes... yum! Would visit every day if my metabolism worked a little faster, lol.

Stayed in Mahone Bay for the Scarecrow Festival for a couple days and ended up having breakfast, lunch and supper there both days. The food was so fresh, and so delicious with such a great variey, and topped with perfect old school charm and atmosphere, we didn't think of going anywhere else.

Quirky, colorful facade. Eating area on patio, lots of deli choices for lunch like Mac & cheese, lasagna, sausage rolls, salt cod cakes, etc and bakery treats like jam print cookies, chocolate macaroons, oatcakes, etc fresh fruits and there is an ice cream parlour.

Just happened to stop on my way to Bridgewater. Great group of ladies, sandwich was amazing. I will be back.

We are visiting here from Ontario. We’re driving through little towns and I saw they sold coffee. Ended up getting lunch. Food was delicious. I had their Quiche of the day. To die for. Seriously. Flaky and absolutely the best. Family had pasta salad and samosas and not one crumb left of anything. Delicious, and super friendly staff. If we come back we will return here for sure!!!!

Jo-Ann's is a cute little market style shop in Mahone Bay with a little of something for every appetite, especially those with a sweet tooth! I've had savory and sweet treats here, and by far the sweets are the standout. A friend professes that their pies are the best they've ever had! While I'm a little biased towards another source, all dessert lovers will find a place in their hearts for Jo-Ann's. Note that the outdoor patio is lovely, and there is a washroom on site, even though it doesn't look like it!

I love visiting Jo-Ann's when I go into Mahone Bay. Sinfully delicious treats and the coffee is equally as good.

The key lime pie is absolute fire. You need big time self control to not eat the whole thing.

The pickle lady went pickle fishing for us for a big and juicy big pickle. Also got two salads that were tasty. All staff were very friendly and responsible for the younger folks working there. Great atmosphere and good dining options. Would love to come back and visit again.

Went to the ice cream bar and came back a second day. Staff were great, prices fair, and ice cream cone was delicious. All store staff were friendly and professional.

Cool deli with a variety of different food options plus a excellent selection of desserts. Lots of seating outdoors. Open till 7pm during the week.

WOW! The coconut cream pie is so delicious. The keylime cheesecake was amazing. The brownies are delightful and the cookie with oatmeal and coconut was yummy! We loved every bite. 😋😋

Best blueberry scones ever. Absolutely perfect. And lovely friendly staff. Adorable little shop with a covered sitting area outside. Great latte & coffee too.

Absolutely loved this quaint cafe. The people working it were friendly beyond friendly. The guest were helpful, friendly and made you feel welcomed instantly. Great food, wonderful atmosphere and what a way to start your day... morning coffee in a beautiful setting off the bay. A must visit if in the Mahone bay area.

we visited the second last week of September. I had a peanut butter cookie that was so delicious. Also we loved the scarecrow that was set up. Great place and so many things to purchase. Fresh fruit and all

Sandwiches were super good! I was also super impressed by their home made donuts. Lunch was a bit pricey though but I highly recommend

Jo-Ann's cinnamon rolls are the BEST cinnamon rolls I have ever had. The package says they're made with love and you can taste it! I look forward to walking to Noggins Corner Farm Market everyday at lunch to get one.

Great little spot! A Mahone Bay landmark. Great homemade pies and the best date squares. Heather who has worked there for many years is our favorite reason for stopping in <3
