I visited this Cafe today and it truly surpassed my expectations. Not only was it incredibly diverse and welcoming, but the quality of the food and customer service was outstanding. I'm so happy we have Seven Shores café in our uptown! It has the most beautiful interior that smells of wood, in addition to the aroma of delicious coffee and food. The staff is friendly, there are plenty of comfortable seating options, the music selection is absolutely lovely, the coffee and scones are delicious. The displayed art also looks great on the walls, and they have an incredible variety of items on the menu. Don't miss their cardamom latte or the lavender blueberry scone! My lavender latte did not taste like lavender, so I'm not sure I would recommend that.
Seven Shores is the perfect spot for a nice breakfast with friends or just working with a laptop. I love, love, love Seven Shores and will definitely be back many more times!

We were looking for a light lunch with a great cup of coffee!
Seven Shores did not disappoint on both accounts.
We tried the Avocado toast minus the sesame pumpkin crunch topping - it was absolutely yummy.
We also had their summer salad; watermelon, blueberries, goat cheese, walnut on mixed greens - oh my… I would eat this salad every day - scrumptious.
We finished this great culinary experience with one of their ginger cookies — large and chewy; it was delicious til the last crumb!!

Visiting from out of town and went here on family recommendation and really really enjoyed it. We each got something different- an omelet, a wrap, and a breakfast sandwich- and they were all really good. I had a medium roast drip coffee that was very good- flavourful and not bitter. The place is popular so you may have to wait for a place to sit. There’s a cute corner for little ones to entertain themselves playing with a toy kitchen. We’ll come back when we’re in the area!

We came for coffee which was good…we will come back to try the food (breakfast or lunch, tempted by the burger). Nice family friendly atmosphere.

So glad we came here! We arrived on Sunday morning around 10am and it was a full house. We were a bit confused at first if we should wait to be seated or seat ourselves, (a sign would be helpful up front to notify new customers to seat themselves). There's plenty of tables and a decent selection of breakfast items and baked goods.
I had the breakfast burrito which was sooo good! Quality tortilla, egg, aged cheddar, and roasted red peppers, toasted to a nice crisp. I had it without the ham and was a tad annoyed that they made me pay extra to sub avocado instead of the ham. It also comes with salsa and sour cream. A really filling breakfast!
We also tried the banana chocolate chip scone which was okay. I'll definitely go back for the burrito.
Also appreciated the all gender bathrooms and the overall aesthetic of the space, airy, friendly, cozy.

Atmosphere and Customer service is excellent. All employees are very friendly and helpful. I tried their breakfast burrito and house-made chocolate milk. Quality was so good and reasonable price. They have a nice outdoor patio in the front. Parking is available in the backside.

Limited seating, really good food, nice options (gluten free, diary free, vegetarian). The place is cute and has very quick service! I liked the atmosphere. I highly recommend for a great tasting quick bite to eat. (Bonus points because they have a lot of healthy options!).

The homemade Oatmeal is out of the world.. creamy and filled with fresh ingredients.. good coffee ! Reasonably priced and parking was easy

First time visit impressed me. Bustling with people inside. Lots of seating, good food. Quality local ingredients and socially conscious business model.

I had the breakfast burritos, which was a decent size and delicious. Coffee was excellent without being froufrou.

I'll be back.

The food is simply prepared and delicious. Portions are a good size that you feel satisfied but don't need a nap afterwards.

Nicely located in the heart of Waterloo. Amazing food and the staff are super friendly. They promote it as a community cafe and it certainly feels like it. They follow all health and safety protocols. A nice spot to enjoy a great coffee and a delicious brunch in Waterloo!

Adorable, super cozy spot with rustic, wood-accent decor. Their breakfast food is excellent, simple, and light, which I find to be very rare with breakfast food as it's often made too heavy, rich, or greasy. Most specifically, they make some of the best, light, fluffy, airy, thin pancakes I've ever had. Also, the orange slices tasted actually fresh and refreshing! I love coming here for breakfast or brunch.

Beautiful little cafe near the ocean. We kept it simple and had some coffee. They were all super tasty and the staff were friendly.

I love this hidden community gem of a coffee shop. The coffee is delicious and has a free refill which is great for those who just like getting some work done in a cafe. Also, the staff are super kind and helpful which just makes the experience so stress free and enjoyable! I love my new “work from home” spot!

A decent stop for a cool vibe, Seven Shores has some good food at reasonable (yet higher than expected) prices. We ordered the steak sandwich special, a chicken sandwich, spring rolls and a kombucha for about 50 dollars. Slightly confusing when coming in, walk up to the “order here” sign and grab a seat once you’ve ordered.

I really enjoy their coffee and food, I usually go for the breakfast bagel or the 7-layer dip and chips...yum! While it's a small space, the layout is very convenient and it's super cozy. They also have outdoor seating, great for warmer weather!
