The Most Creative Café I've ever been to.

The ENERGY in here feels so Pleasant. The owners are cool. This space looks small when you walk in but it actually has a back area that is just as big as the front if not a little bigger. You do not expect that upon first entry. Haha! Overall, great experience. The Colonel Mustard is just good. Happy to have visited today.

Great place to play a wide variety of board games! The staff are knowledgeable and always willing to help teach a game.

Food is delicious and they serve beer/spirits (if that interests you).

A wonderful place to take kids, but also a great choice for a date night!

The boardwalk lounge is a fun place to visit! I came in to purchase games for a friend's wedding and the shop had an outstanding selection of games. Most of the games in the registry were there and I had lots of choice. I didn't try the food however the menu is robust with good gluten free options. Good looking drink menu too

One of the best spots in Peterborough! Staff are full of energy, are great at setting the vibe and are patient when explaining board games. The food is creative and delicious. They're constantly trying new dishes and cookies. They have great events such as local game designer nights and meetups so if you're friends are into board games you can still find a fun, supportive group to play with. Nothing in the GTA is comparable <3

We stopped in for board games and a treat. Great music. Dylan explained the new games we tried out. Will definitely be back with my kids to try some of the games out (and more of the food 😀)

We love the Boardwalk Cafe. The Mac and cheese is AMAZING and Lordy I love their local beer selection.

We also go here to play and purchase games, naturally. It is our favourite place for a date night. The owners know their stuff and have gotten us hooked on quite a few new games. Plus, their social feeds are super fun.

The staff are amicable and so fun to talk to. They helped us choose games and when we were stuck on some games, they helped resolve issues. We got many different items off the menu (cookies, popcorn, sandwiches, drinks) and all of them were so delicious. The atmosphere is so fun and warm. It’s a comfy place to sit at for hours at a time, too. They even sell board games which is so exciting! I highly recommend going for any occasion. It’s so worth it and reasonably priced as well.

Spent an amazing evening with friends at Boardwalk Lounge playing board games and nibbling on great food. Not only do they have an incredibly large selection of games (huge!), the staff also KNOW the games and make great recommendations based on other games you have played and liked. Then to make it even better, they bring you the recommended games and EXPLAIN how to play them so you don’t lose a ton of time trying to figure out the directions !! You can play as many games as you like all for $7 per person!!! Amazing !!we had snack food and it was terrific. Main course food looked wonderful and will be trying it next time for sure. We were there for 3 hours and it flew by. Next time I will plan to stay longer to play more games! This is great for date night, family night or night out with friends.

Superb place!! Came with my coparent and daughter, spent a few hours here and we had a great experience. As a family we had the space and quiet to bond with our autistic child, we had the space to enjoy and explore. It was amazing and the staff is so considerate and welcoming - I recommend it to everyone.

My boyfriend and I have been here at least 5 or 6 times now. It’s our go to spot! Dylan is fantastic at explaining games so you don’t have to read through all of the instructions yourself. They have a huge selection of games and will even suggest some for you if you wish. Food is great and they have gluten free options which I appreciate!! I recommend Boardwalk Board game for families, couples or friends!

My boyfriend surprised me with a visit here for our anniversary! I had no idea! We had so much fun! We were shown a game we had never heard of before and we ended up having the most fun with that game out of all that we played. The food, drinks, service & games were amazing! Will definitely be coming back with some friends!

We've visited twice so far and plan to visit again soon. The service is amazing. Staff are friendly, helpful, and patient. They make great recommendations! There are TONS of game choices for you. And the price point meets almost everyone's needs. The only downside is the cost of the "dinner" food items, so if you're on a tight budget, maybe plan around that. The food is delicious though!

this place is so lovely and a great way to unwind on a Friday night. the food looks delicious — the cookies I got the chance to try were great! they have a good selection of games and the staff are kind and willing to recommend a game or help you out with rules. I want to come here again and again!

Our new favorite spot! Great game selection, great food, and amazing service. Staff was able to help us select some games that we loved. We loved one so much we bought it the same day to take home. The huge selection of cookies and floats was appreciated!

My wife and I came here for a date night and had a fantastic time playing a few new games. The staff is always eager to help explain the games if you need and are very attentive. The food is delicious, and the shop always smells of fresh popcorn, cookies, or kettle chips.

We loved it so much, we brought our friends back the next week!

We were visiting Peterborough and we stopped in here. What a great place! Soooo many games to play :)
The gentlemen that work there were super friendly and the service was excellent as was the food!! Try the iced coffee with vanilla and the Flatbread with cheese...delicious!!! They have created a fun atmosphere where you can hang out and try new board games with your friends....would definitely go again if we were in the area. Highly recommend!!!

Server Dillon was very helpful with game rules and was very friendly. Food was also excellent - got the mac and cheese. Also looked like a great selection of craft beers available.
