St Veronus Cafe and Tap Room

Stopped for lunch here! Menu had great options, which made it hard to choose, but even better, it was all delicious! Each plate was nearly scraped clean when done enjoying. 😋 Drinks were good as well as service. Desserrs were also yummy Will return when in Peterborough.

I absolutely LOVE St Veronus! From the beautiful and unique atmosphere, to the delicious food prepared and the wonderful service, I have always appreciated this fine dining experience. In the winter months the restaurant is cozy with candles lit and soft music playing. In the summer, there is a gorgeous back patio that offers a unique vibe while sitting in the sun enjoying a refreshing beverage and a plate of frites! My recommendation is the Steak and Frites however, I have always enjoyed all the food recommendations offered!

St Veronus is one of my go-to lunch spot! The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, staff is always friendly and informative! Service is quick and the food is delicious! Great for a quick meeting or a lingering gathering, just let your server know and they will make it seamless! Love this Peterborough staple!

One of our favorite places. We love sitting at the bar and experimenting with different Belgian brews. The food is excellent.

First visit here and will definitely return. We enjoyed their calamari and Lambic cheery beers. Modules Frites and Fish & chips were both generous and delicious.

We love to pop out to this high quality, cozy, and delicious restaurant, often on a weeknight for European comfort food and a bevvie after a long work day. Staff is friendly, welcoming and professional. We love the Fried Brussels sprouts topped with red pepper pesto, pepitas and cheese.. it's truly addictive. Also the unique specials or the fish and chips which I think is the best in town!

Water and menus given as we sat down. Incredible Belgian beer. Mussels are a must when you go here. Service is attentive, food is perfect

I've been to this restaurant/ pub 3 years ago and had a wonderful experience.
Came back this weekend and it was definitely worth it going there again (2-hour driving only for it).
Great vibe, amazing staff (shout out to Chris - what a cool guy!!!), excellent food, and a wide range of exceptional beers

My Favourite Restaurant in Peterborough Now.

I absolutely loved the P.E.I. Mussels & Belgian Frites I had today. Really nice & relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. Also, their menu is very condensed to only their best quality food with great ingredients & specials. That's how you know that you're selecting quality food. I love this place - St. Veronus Café. 🤍

Excellent atmosphere and food. A tad chilly sitting near the windows today however it -18°C right now. Lunch out with daughter and friend. Food presents well and taste great.

10/10, I loved every beer I tried in my flight. One was so fruity it was like drinking a cobbler! If this is how they do in Belgium, I am 1000% going to travel there one day. I've never been to Belgium.

Sat on the patio, and they took us early even though our reservation was for later. The server was awesome, had menus water and drinks within minutes. Food was quick and oh so delicious. Price was on point and one of the best restaurants in the city. Will be back for sure!

The Duck Confit was so delicious! A must try while they still have it on the special plates menu! To me, just the best duck plate I ever had! A great pairing for a strong dark beer - and they have many options of those to choose from! The plate comes with fried brussel sprouts there are out of this world, so good!

Atmosphere, service, food and bevy that is refined yet cozy, St. Veronus stuck the landing. If this restaurant was a clothing line it would be the timeless Calvin Klein or Coco Chanel that not only makes you look good, it’s also extremely wearable. Sean was our knowledgeable service with impeccable timing and superb suggestions. Try the De Koninck Mussels paired with a beer by the same name. My new favourite spot. 😋💕🍻

Real Belgian experience with greet food and an impressive selection of Belgian beers ! Food is well prepared .. nicely presented !
