MADO - Square ONE

This restaurant is identical to the one in Istanbul which makes it transport you to the city itself. The staff is very friendly and kind which also makes you feel at home. I was very lucky to be served by Berk today and I honestly received the fastest and nicest service I’ve ever had at this place. The food portions are big and filling and delicious. The Turkish tea tastes and feels exactly like you’re drinking it in Istanbul. The atmosphere here is beautiful and completely worth it. I always enjoy coming here.

Amazing food and the portions were huge. The appetizer included four unique dips plus bread. Just that was filling and sharable. I had the beef wrap and it was delicious! Fries were crispy and made to order and the beef was tender and not stringy. The baklava was incredible and presented at the table warm.

An absolute delight! The Turkish restaurant transported me to the vibrant streets of Istanbul with its authentic flavors and warm ambiance. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with freshness and exquisite spices. The attentive staff made the experience even more memorable, ensuring every detail was perfect. I can't wait to return for another culinary journey!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant with my friends. The ambiance is great for gathering in a group. We had chicken sheesh kabob, iskender beef, falafel lavash, and penne arrabbiata; all of them were super tasty. Do not forget to try the mixed dessert plate; it was extremely delicious, especially the plain milk ice cream and baklava♥.

Great service, amazing food, and wonderful atmosphere! One of the top Turkish restaurants in the Toronto area! I went to grab a bite with my mom and we both loved our food. The service was friendly and efficient. Overall I highly recommend MADO Square One!

Mado- I love the ambiance. 5 stars for service, they were very quick, we didn't wait for long after order. Very clean and everyone is so welcoming.

Food- we ordered pasta and the waiter was able to accommodate my request to make it veggie and removed the veggies which I don't enjoy in pasta. Lots of veggie options for vegetarians. Must try Falafal omg it was so light and tasty.
Reco- for dinner try going around 6pm else the place gets busier.

our brunch was a blast, mainly thanks to Emre’s awesome service. He welcomed us warmly and made sure we had a blast from start to finish. suggestions were spot-on. The egg with sujuk, iskander, tea, and grand breakfast.

Emre’s friendly and attentive vibe. He was on top of everything, making sure we were happy every step of the way.

Fantastic service and overall dining experience. We dropped in for late lunch and a senior staff warmly welcomed us and attended to us right away. The waiters were very pleasant and helpful (we came in with 2 toddlers and a stroller). 5 stars for food taste and presentation. As for serving size, I think we got more value for our money with the desserts. They have a lot of food options so it’s best to check their menu ahead of time especially if you will come with kids. We are definitely coming back to try the other desserts. Great choice for family dining and for meeting up with friends.

I had an amazing experience. Staff were amazing and their food quality was 10/10. They even brought me a unique gelato made with goat milk. It was delicious!!! I can’t wait to visit this location again.

Excellent Turkish restaurant! The food is amazing and the drinks are delicious. I had a great time here! Turkish coffee is a must try. Our server Yazgan was very helpful, offering a great experience!

I came to eat a late lunch with a coworker, and this spot doesn’t disappoint. Wasn’t sure what to expect because many spots look nice but doesn’t mean the foods necessarily great, but it was!

The waiter was so welcoming and attentive, we scanned the QR code for the menu, I ordered the Chicken Lavash which is a chicken wrap, with fries and salad which was so delicious the chicken was the perfect level of juiciness, and the fries were as crunchy as I like them🥰 the salad came with a light vinegar like dressing.

Then I ordered mint & lemon tea and it came with this complimentary sweet which was such a sweet touch👌 plus the way it was presented and the flavours tasted so fresh, they must use organic herbs for it to taste as good as it did🌿

This spot is not only beautiful, but delicious with an amazing team. Definitely need to come back soon to try more of their pastries as well🍰

Hands down, some of the best food I’ve had recently! They use the freshest ingredients and make sure each dish is done the right way. The beef stew was especially memorable. Also there is pne serviceman ,his name was ANAR.He was doing an amazing job. Must try

Berk was a great server! I always get the simit bread w/ butter and honey and a Turkish tea, keeps me coming back every time.

I used to go to Mado in Jordan and Turkey when I traveled. I was so happy to find it here at square one. The decor and atmosphere is beautiful. I ordered the beef burger, fries and a ceased salad. The food is delicious and prepared fresh. I also ordered their lemonade with mint and it was so refreshing. I will definitely come back.

My friend and I were walking through the mall and stopped in to drink real Turkish coffee. Our waiter was Yazan and it was an amazing experience. he told us about Turkish sweets and let us try them. He patiently explained everything about different tastes and smiled endlessly! wonderful cafe with awesome staff!

First time visiting Mado. Went for breakfast and I have to say it was amazing. Got one of their larger breakfast options and for all the food that was provided the price was great. The food tasted fresh and full of flavour.
Last but least our server was Ivana made the experience even better. From her knowledge of the menu to her sincere and kind demeanour she was so great deal with. She even offered to hold onto our leftovers so that we could walk the mall, she was super kind.

Can’t wait to go back!!!

I visited Mado yesterday for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. My friend and I came to have a late birthday celebratory meal for myself. Our waiter (I can’t remember his name) was amazing, so kind and knowledgeable about the menu.

I’ve never experienced Turkish coffee or Turkish desserts/food before. I ordered the bitter chocolate Turkish coffee and it came with a little piece of heaven called hazelnut Turkish delight. My mind was blown. The coffee was decent but the Turkish delight was the star! For my main I ordered the chicken shish kebabs and we took an order of pistachio baklava to go. The kebabs were delicious and juicy. Nothing special about the fries or rice..: the fries are the same as Costco fries.

When it came time to pay, we had an issue with my square one gift card that I received for my birthday. The manager came out and rectified the situation and was very polite and helpful. Thank you for being so kind. All in all a great birthday meal and I’ll definitely return in the future with my family. Thank you Mado!

Highly would recommend this place for brunch!! Amazing service, huge portions and the interior was both wonderfully cozy and luxurious. We had the traditional breakfast and it was a GENEROUS amount for two people (we had lots of leftovers). All for $50 including tea. The kaymak and honey was so memorable. The bread was so delicious. We left very happy with our experience.

I really loved the atmosphere here! And everything I've ordered so far has been excellent 👌
