That was a special treat! Fantastic all around. We devoured every bite of everything.
Shauna, our server, was so confident in her descriptions and recommendations I teased her about being almost cocky. But she was right, the food was spectacular.

Birchwood offers upscale cuisine in a relaxed setting. Noise was low, making conversations quite easy. Vegetarian options were wonderfully prepared and flavorful. Lamb shank was properly prepared and deliciously tender. The food quality and presentation was evidence that Birchwood cares about their patrons. Most patrons were dressed quite casual, I think Birchwwod deserves "smart casual" attire.

This is a fantastic restaurant, from arrival to departure we were treated with the utmost hospitality. Starters were mango margarita with gooseberry garnish, pakoras with a delicious date sauce. Dinner was highlighted by the lamb shank with creamy potatoes and veggies. We had several vegetarians in our dinner party and they enjoyed falafel sandwiches and grilled cheese fondue with bread, apples, and preserves. After dinner we had a latte with smoked maple syrup. The maitre d and our waiter Kane were exceptional and the food was impressive.

Fast, efficient, and friendly service. Impeccable food, and, the patio is just lovely. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality of food. What more is there to say? I can't think of a single negative aspect of our dinner. If I could give it six stars I would. I absolutely recommend it.

Birchwood is a gem in the Columbia Valley. It's cozy, intimate cabin decor is very welcoming. The staff are friendly, lively and knowledgable. We had the beef tenderloin and it was delicious, perfectly cooked, and the seasonal root veggies and potatoes rounded out the meal. We love coming here when in the valley.

This place is super cute and the warm energy was a highlight of a recent trip to Invermere. Our server, Chantelle, was authentically friendly without being overbearing. We made a reservation at the last minute and very glad we did. Food was very good- I had a fondue and the best kale salad I have ever had!

My husband and I came for dinner and were seated in your heated covered patio. Such a nice and cosy atmosphere. Staff was attentive and friendly . Food was delicious, presentation was great. Thank you!

Fantastic place. Been there a few times and it's always delightful. Great atmosphere, friendly and competent staff, good pacing, an accommodating kitchen (for special requests) and delicious food. I would be hard pressed to think of anything they could improve.

The food and drinks were amazing!!! We will definitely be back the next time we are back in town!
The beef carpacio was melt in your mouth. Steak and short rib dish!! Heavenly. AMAZING!

Superb restaurant! We visited one year ago and then one day ago and it still has a very cozy, inviting ambience. Make sure you share the dessert trio! 🤤 We will continue to dine here when visiting Invermere.

Delicious food with great service from Gord. They don't have a kids menu but Gord was happy to provide pasta and sauce for the kids that they loved. Thanks so much for the great experience.

I can’t say enough about how impressed we were with this place. We were in Invermere for a nice place to eat for our anniversary. The food and service is amazing. We were so impressed we booked to go back the second evening.

Wonderful dining experience at this establishment. Food was delicious and expertly prepared. Highlights include the fried calamari which was lightly battered and tender. I had the seafood catch of the day which was scallops and prawns. Incredibly tender, sweet scallops and perfectly prepared prawns. Served w fresh veggies and a light sauce which enhanced the flavor. Partner and I both loved it. Others had the steaks and one had the lobster mac and cheese. The ahi tuna bowls were also a huge hit w two of the ladies. Our server, Athena was very helpful and attentive to our group. Great service and restaurant!

Doesn’t get much better than this....this was one of our last nights in jnvermere 💔Steph was leaving in 5 days but obviously we made the whole week a celebration. Kicking it off with birch wood - duh!

Everything about our visit was phenomenal, from the curb appeal walking up, the welcoming greetings from the staff, the ambience, the service, menu, food, cocktails and dessert... Honeymoon dinner did not disappoint, so impressed we made a second reservation for the next night... here's a couple photos of the feature, so delicious!

Must try catch of the day, cod was amazingly cooked to perfection! And I mean perfection!

Popped in for dinner as it seemed to be the only open place in town. Food was absolutely outstanding. 💯 way beyond expectations. Server was great and very chill vibe. Will be back for sure and highly recommend. We had the seared tuna daily special and it was perfect. Finished up with the creme brulee and cheeseckae both were wow! Ty for a great meal at a decent price.
