Cork and Bean Peterborough

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. We make a detour to Ottawa to stop here. I had the strawberry scone and decaf latte and my hubby had a very flaky croissant and dark roast coffee this time. So many great choices.

I have always enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere of this cafe right in the middle of the downtown core. I have often met for networking events or casual conversations here. Somedays are quiet and still while others are bustling and energetic! I have enjoyed sandwiches, treats and beverages!

I enjoyed everything about this place even though it was a little overpriced. It was great food and drinks though...and I never felt ripped off at all. Unique little place. I recommend going at least once!!!! Twice....just to make sure you are correct. :-)

This is a great cafe. The coffee was great, I had a cappuccino and my wife had a latte. I also had an egg and bacon croissant and it was excellent. The staff was friendly and brought the coffee and food to our table. They do take out as well. The atmosphere was nice as well, they have a neat "industrial" theme going on. I would recommend this place to anyone. It seems like they do food all day and have a liquor license.

Visits on the week of August 29, 2022. Mobility impaired accessible. Seating on main floor, downstairs and upstairs loft. Great / friendly staff. Feels like a community gathering spot. Coffee, tea and other beverages were excellent. Food items delicious and all reasonably prices. New favourite coffee house.

Delicious Breakfast Menu, Best waffles and Grilled Veggie Mediterranean sandwich. Loved it. Tried the very berry one with whipped cream. Ordered Take out with their drip coffee ☕

We had a staff party here today. Wonderful, friendly staff, great food and such a nice vibe. Love it

Cork and Bean Peterborough is a unique atmosphere. I love their mason jar for ice coffee, which makes it feel like you're sipping on a chilled-out Java in a hipster joint in Brooklyn.

The staff here is super friendly, and they really make you feel welcome. They have an interesting mix of customers coming through the door.

If you're looking for a cool environment that's not too crowded and has good coffee, this is your spot!

This is my fav coffee shop in Peterborough, particularly in the winter because of its super cozy vibes. The coffee is fantastic, the breakfast burrito is my go-to meal, and their Portuguese tarts are to die for! It's a very busy spot for a reason, haha. I highly recommend checking it out!

The decor in here is awesome. Live the ruggedness. And you need to use the restrooms, it's nice to see a place that cares not only about cleanliness but smart. Coffee was great and the pecan butter tart amazing. Glad that Via Rail was blocked and that I had to make the drive to Ottawa from Toronto. So happy I avoided the 401 and discovered other communities. Merci.

I'm spoiled with good lattes and good cafes with regular trips to Montreal. Cork and Bean is the best in Peterborough/ Kawartha Lakes. They make a great coffee/ latte/ espresso etc and they are consistent - it's always good, and that is hugely important to me. Fantastic vibrant, but still relaxing atmosphere. They still specialize in nadas - a delicious Portuguese custard tart. Try the chocolate one too - killer.

As soon as you come in, you notice the nice atmosphere. It's a perfect spot to share some time with friends, your partner or even to enjoy some time by yourself. They have free Wi-Fi and excellent drinks. Grab a sandwich and enjoy. You can book the lowest of the three areas for a meeting with a good bunch of friends or coworkers.
They've got some of the yummiest desserts I've tried in town.
The staff is friendly and the service is good.

I went there first time although the one is oshawa is my go to place. The lattes are great. They have variety of food options as well.. the breakfast menu is good. The ambience is so nice... you can just sit and relax with your coffee.

Cork and bean is a great atmosphere with amazing staff, I have been getting my coffee there for nearly two years. Great place to study and relax, I practically did my diploma one cappuccino at a time thanks to the lovely staff that work there.

This place is a little boite. It has everything that one needs for a great Cafe experience. The staff is fantastic, the product is amazing, the service is second to none. Love this place.

Great cappuccino (beans are Ruffalo) and also a pastry with cheese and bacon. I sat on the cool and quiet back patio.

I haven’t spent much time in Peterborough. This place is in a really nice old 3-storey brick building, surrounded by similar. They’re all around in the cool and shady back patio. They are fantastic building stock and I hope that they are preserved.

An amazing cafe, with great work space and friendly staff. I had the almond croissant with a coffee and it was phenomenal. All their pastries are great and will try the sandwiches on my next visit. The vibes are unmatched.

My favourite cafe in town. I used to study there when I was in university and now I go there to do my writing. Awesome food and Happy Hour is always great as well.

Went for the first time and had the most pleasant experience! The girls working were very nice, making my experience top notch! The blonde girl is bubbly and kind and just the kind of person you want serving you! The macciato i had was immaculate and the chicken and spinach sandwhich was amazing! I cannot wait to try the pastries when i get home! These girls deserve a giant raise!

Great Food, great Service. It was pretty much packed tho from people trying to warm up from the cold weather
