This wonderful café located in the village Procter is “known” by locals and is well worth a visit.
Friendly service, peaceful setting and amazing baked goods make for a relaxing welcoming place.
As a side note it is 8km from the Harop Ferry making for a lovely ride along quite county roads!
Everyone mentions the cinnamon buns and after you’ve tried them you will know why!

In the heart of the most picturesque little community, is a quaint cottagesque café, with the most delicious cinnamon buns you have ever tasted. We got the "offspring" after hunting out some chill mountain bike riding, and are now enthusiastic to return! Doctors orders. B-)

A delicious iced latte with one of the best cinnamon buns I have ever had. Very friendly owner shared a bit of history about the cafe and surrounding area. Cute little gallery next door and a hair salon! Lots of outdoor shaded and indoor seating

It is a highlight of our visits to the Kootenays on a yearly basis. I kind of don't want to share this jewel as I want to make sure there will be enough cinnamon buns for when I visit. However, they are too good to be selfish.

This is a busy place with great food, great staff, a great patio and a short free ferry ride.

Great for kids and adults of all ages

Cinnamon buns were great! Chewy. With a hint of orange. It is cute and they try hard to be a cornerstone of the local community. We did the cinnamon bun bike ride here and it was worth it! Cute area.

Nice place to go for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Fridays! They have delicious beverages, lots of food choices, and incredible fresh cinnamon buns! Lots of gluten-free baked goodies, too, and they have gluten-free pizza crust and vegan options for pizza nights on Fridays. Indoor seating is clean and comfortable, and outdoor seating is beautiful and spacious. It's located in the old school house, so it has a really fun vibe, and with the playground next door, it makes for a great family outing.

We were able to message and reserve cinnamon buns. They are amazingly good and worth the drive and ferry ride.
Great service and lovely environment.
Take a book, sit outside, and enjoy a snack and coffee.

A gem of Procter, this spot has been through many iterations over the years. The food in the current situation is WONDERFUL. Sandwiches, baked treats (cinnamon buns!), bread, hot drinks and more, all are conscientiously created and you can tell. A fantastic spot for a stop in on a cool morning, or to lounge for a bit of an afternoon. Nice community hub with lovely energy. Clean and comfortable, friendly service, and a vibe that suits all types.

This lovely gem hidden in the quaint hamlet of Procter is a wonderful spot. Well worth the visit. Sit inside or out, or a stroll down to the beautiful lake. Have been here a number of times. Will be back again!

Great cinnamon buns, beautiful location. Don't follow Google's directions, they'll send you to someone's house blocks away. It's actually just up the hill behind the General Store.

Really lovely coffee and pastries, with charming outdoor garden seating. Indoor seating is also available but we chose the garden

Little cafe that has some very tasty cinnamon rolls. Also have this egg/various ingredients in a roll similar to a cinnamon roll. All very tasty.
