Chandra and Chuck were amazing hosts!

The campground is really well maintained and camping in the cedar trees was a dream!

Our dog was welcomed and no extra charge! Everyone in the campground had their dogs leashed which is hard to find now a days, so thankful as our dog is reactive.

The creek flowed beside our campsite and was so nice to fall asleep to the sound.

Two minute walk from our tent is a small beach on Kootenay Lake. We brought our paddle boards and loved how close the water was.

There is coffee and snacks for very very reasonable prices at the front cabin.

Legitimately the CLEANEST washrooms I have ever seen at a campground. The showers have great water pressure and are also spotless.

Absolutely worth every cent. Cannot wait to come back.

Chuck was an amazing host from the moment we got there, he met us at the office and guided us to a pull through spot with our 28’ C class pulling our Jeep , ( oh ya , this was our maiden voyage) then I had some virgin voyage confusion with the water system and he helped me sort that out. A beautiful little campground with a creek running beside it , only a couple hours from home we’ll definitely be back.

Chuck and Chandra were incredible hosts. My wife and I rented a trailer here for a week to spend time together for our anniversary. The location is perfect, the trailer was perfect and other campers were ideal. A private spot, welcoming hosts and great neighbours made this an awesome place to spend our vacation days. Much love to you both.

Wow! This place is a little piece of heaven, from the creek that runs through the campground to the trees that surround each campsite for privacy.

Chandra, thank you so much for inviting me, making me feel so welcome and sharing this beautiful space. All the clean up and improvements you guys are doing will definitely pay off because you will be booked solid! 🌟💝

I can’t wait to bring my family here, to create some new memories and time well spent. I didn’t realize how much I miss being in nature until my visit to this campground.

I couldn’t help but do a little recording of the river, because it’s so beautifully healing. Thank you! ♥

Very welcoming and kind owners. We are with bicycles and a table and chairs where directly arranged. Very clean washrooms, nice grassy spot, very reasonable rate, good WiFi, stores close by, swimming close by. Shade and sun, whatever you want. Vendingmachines, laundry room and ice bags for sale. Perfect place, also because just on the other side of the road there is beach access, with outhouses and a fire place. Such a sweet place with that old community hall building

A charming and quiet campground nestled in a cedar forest with a mountain stream running along the property. Impeccably clean showers and washroom facilities. Lots of space between campsites, did not hear a thing all night! Will return for sure.

The campground is a pure oasis of relaxation. We stayed with a tent on a large meadow. The bathrooms are well maintained and the staff is super friendly and it feels like they really care about the campground.

Very nice camp site. Very calm and peaceful. General store is a short walk away. Nice quiet beaches nearby.
Lynne and John are super welcoming and fun to hang out with if you get the chance.
The place feels like a solid community.
And even though we were tenting there was still a power hook up for us.
Facilities are clean and well maintained

Just stayed this weekend. Very nice shade everywhere, nice and comfortable to sleep for tenting. Owners are very nice people and the firewood is a good deal at $15 for a piled high wheel barrow full. Will return, lots of nice areas to explore off road nearby.

We camped here for 3 nights. It was one of the better campgrounds we had. We camped all the way back of the park which meant a longer walk to the washrooms, but the privacy and the proximity to the river more than made up this drawback. Paid $30 for two wheelbarrowful of logs for the fire. I slept so good here because of how quiet things are here. At night, the sky gets so dark, I could see the milky way galaxy above. 5/5 stars.

We just returned from 5 wonderful days at this campground. WHAT A GEM!!!
I will write a quick pros and cons list, but overall, this one was a trip that I will surely remember, and probably return to.

Pros:
-Beautiful, warm lake access
-Friendly atmosphere, lots of trees, wildlife, minimal bugs (though bring a wasp catcher)
-BEAUTIFUL sites... one of the prettiest I have stayed in
-There is the most amazing rushing creek that runs through the campground so even though it is right off the highway, we didn't really hear any noise because the creek dampens the sound
-General store that is walking distance
-Surrounding area is amazing
-Little park area has lots of room for kids to roam
-So much to do in the area, even during covid (hikes, lake, canoeing, etc).
-Full hook ups with zero issues
-Price was very reasonable for what you get

Cons:
-Our site was very difficult to get into as we had to jackknife down a very steep hill (Luckily, some of the permanent residents were more than willing to assist us). I was grateful to have a giant diesel truck that day! I don't think all of the sites are quite as bad, but ours was.
-Wifi is very very slow and I was unable to get service of any kind on the site (I am with Rogers). I'm not much of a phone person, so I survived. If you have to work while you camp though, this might not be a good fit.
-Lake is on the other side of the highway, and you have to cross a VERY narrow bridge with no shoulder to get there.... which was pretty scary with kids in toe. But we did it many times and didn't die, so WIN!

We arrived there late because we were delayed over the Gray Creek Pass by bike and didn't have food other then cliff bars. The owner was super kind and offered us food and we had a wonderful night in this quiet campground. 100% would recommend👌.

We visited a couple that stay there all season. The owners are so nice that I now play WWF with her. Gray Creek flows through it and it was great to hear it from all over the camp. The wifi could only be used near the office, but they have tables on the porch and in the big grassy field that are beside a big play area, so it's a pleasant experience and a chance to meet people.
