Harbourview Restaurant

In our travels in PEI this restaurant became our second hidden gem. We had lunch there today and every bite was marvelous. My friend and I both ordered lobster rolls, her first, and they were delicious. Chock-full of lobster on a beautifully toasted bun. The coleslaw was good and the onion rings we shared were excellent. The pie is not to be missed! The pie was so good, we each ordered a second piece to go. The service was every bit as good as the food!

Lovely little spot on the wharf of Murray harbour, wife and I had lunch here during our light house tour and were extremely satisfied! My wife had the seafood chowder and absolutely loved it. I had the more traditional hot chicken sandwich. Everything was home cooked and you could tell the people working loved their little restaurant. Quaint and enjoyable for a lunch or quiet dinner. Lots of seating outside as well as a variety inside as well. The restaurant sits right next to the harbour and is worth having a stroll down before or after

Harbourview is a restaurant that has consistently good quality food. My wife had fish cakes and I had fish and chips.

They also have a large selection of homemade desserts.

Wonderful, tasty food and wonderful service! Seems unassuming from the outside but the fries with the works is the best I've ever had in PEI. The fries are crispy, quality cheese and meat throughout not just sprinkled on top. The chowder is rich and chock full of seafood and potatoes and carrots. We also got milkshakes and their bread pudding, which were also so amazing. We went with our infant and they accommodated us with a booster seat. Dawn is a kind and attentive waitress. Will definitely be back to try the seafood platter next time.

Friendly and cozy vibes. There are a few parking spots out front. There is a large patio if you want to eat outside. Inside, there are a line of booths and looks very cute. Food was satisfying. The washrooms are clean and on the second floor. The stairs are narrow and steep.

This place is an absolute gem. Amazing food, great atmosphere. We cycled 30k to get there, and it was well worth the effort.

Excellent food and very friendly service. The restaurant really has a local flavor about it that I enjoyed. There is a full gluten free menu, which was also appreciated since someone in my party had a gluten intolerance.

Update July 2022: What a gem! We arrived without a reservation and we're so grateful they were able to squeeze us in!
The chowder was again amazing as expected (not sure if it was the same size as last year, but it was filling nonetheless!); delicious tartar sauce with the fish&chips; tasty fish cakes that were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside; and scallops cooked to perfection! My mother in law really appreciated the separate gluten-free menu as well.
Thank you to the wonderful staff for the warm welcome!

Aug 2021: Came to eat outside with my family. The food was delicious and the waitress was very kind and friendly. I would have liked a bigger portion for the "large" chowder but it was very tasty. Sweet potato fries were also really good and came with a nice spicy sauce.

Out for a guided tour around PEI, stopped here for lunch, probably the best fish and chips I have ever had. Great service, big portions and easily handled our large group of hungry biker's!!

This little gem is worth the drive. Food was amazing and desserts to die for.

Delicious( (Everything…….but you should really try their seafood chowder!)! Today, I had a bacon cheeseburger & it was also EXCEPTIONAL!! Thanks!

The food was amazing. We all had fish & chips. The haddock was fresh, the batter was amazing and the tartar sauce, which had dill in it, was to dye for. Homemade pie was great. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This please is a hidden treasure. We go every year. Very charming beach decor & colors. Picnic tables outside. Prices are excellant & food fresh & outstanding. Large portions. Lots of fresh pies & icecream. Staff very friendly. Dawn was our waitress & she brought the food very quick. Very nice lady. We will definitely be back!

There were three ladies in the group from away. We felt totally at home and enjoyed the atmosphere, and the staff were extremely friendly and fun and helpful. We sat out under the trees under an umbrella in the sunshine and enjoyed a wonderful, absolutely wonderful large lunch two of us shared the two, piece, fish and chips and a small salad and were pleasantly full to the point where we had to take our pie away with us for later in the afternoon because we couldn’t eat another bite and I can’t Xpress enough how wonderful these women were at serving their public, would highly recommend eating here. And will make a point of stopping again the next time we are on the island thank you ladies and gentlemen, if there are any working out back, we didn’t see them 😁

We stopped here on a rainy drive around P.E.I for a quick bite. My daughter had the lobster roll, I had the jalepeno fish wrap and then we had ice cream for dessert. The food was quite good and perfectly proportioned. We didn't leave hungry, but we didn't leave stuffed. The staff was quite friendly, especially once they found out we were from out of province.

Unbelievably tasty foooooood! Deserts, coffee and seafood to die for. INCREDIBLE! Literally the best mussels ever. And reasonably priced!

Had the fish and chips with two side salads...fish was lightly coated in a light crispy batter and fries were done perfectly! The tartar sauce is the best I've ever had. You can dine in or eat outside at the picnic tables and experience the beautiful harbour view first hand. We didn't have room for their homemade pies but it's definitely on my list for next time! Staff is amazing and super friendly. Was a great dinner...we all enjoyed it!
