Somers By the Beach Campground

Very nice Campground. Owners are on site and great people! My toddler broke the key for all the exterior compartments on RV and Chris was able to get us fixed up fast! Sites are big, clean and picturesque. Washrooms/laundry is spotless and the little store has lots of snacks and games!
Highly recommended.

This is a getaway campground to me. You are next to the Murray River, the sites are large, it's not a large campground but it has a pool and lots for the kids yet it isn't noisy. It isn't close to tourist areas but Montague is a beautiful place and McDonalds Bakery is the best! I can see why this place is always booked.

Can’t wait to go back!! A very scenic campground next to Kings Castle park, kayak rentals, cabins, pool and family games like a cardboard boat races and bingo etc. There is also very few bugs. Sites book up really fast.

We just left Somers after having been there for 5 days. We had a wonderful time. The service from Chris and Jessie and their family was wonderful. The amenities and grounds are spotless and having access to the dock and kayaks is amazing. Our only feedback is that it would be nice to have the pool open before 11am. We have already booked for a week for next year!

We really like this campground. It's hard to find a spot so we book a year ahead and were also on a cancellation list that we lucked out on last year and again this year. We are seniors but there are people of all ages here. Visitors and staff all following Covid 19 guidelines. The campsites are terrific. Staff are very friendly. (Family run business) All sites are very clean including washrooms if you tenting or don't have a washroom in your RV. We're here this week because of a cancellation and will be back im August through a booking last year. We find this park very quiet and relaxing and there are lots of playground equipment for children and a pool for children and adults 10/10

We love your campground! You’ve always been nothing but courteous and extremely helpful, and we made the unfortunate accident of camping nearby. Their lack of customer service only made you shine brighter. We’ll book early for next year, that’s for sure. Thanks, Somers, for being an example of true island hospitality and fun!

We had such a lovely weekend stay at Somer's. Well-organized and well-maintained, and such a beautiful property overlooking the river. This family-owned campground is definitely worth checking out... we'll be back for sure!

I normally wouldn't leave a review, but this place is AMAZING! super friendly family. Great spot. It's a little far from Charlottetown but I was so glad we got to spend the night. Super clean bathrooms. The night sky was absolutely astonishing! I would definitely recommend going there. They even waited for us to get there because we weren't sure we would make it.

Kids enjoyed everything this campground had to offer, kayaks, dock with slide, scavenging on the beach, clam digging, pool, 3 different and unique playgrounds, campfires, biking, right next to Kings Castle for easy access and hayrides. Safe place to let the children run around, play and make friends. Memories made...

Nice small campground that is very well kept with friendly staff. Has many things to keep the kids entertained such as playgrounds, pool, hay rides in the evenings and free kayak rentals down by the beach.

Will be back. Spacious, clean washrooms with showers, makes you feel like you are at home. Tent sites are amazing. The kids have already asked to go back next year. We will be back, and for longer!

What an absolute gem of a place!! Everything was amazing.. we never wanted to leave. The kids had so much fun and there was so much to do. I'll be back next summer for sure!
