My first google review! We drove into John Bear when passing on the way home from test driving 4 vehicles at 2 other dealerships elsewhere. We were greeted warmly by Louis who offered his help with a vehicle we saw on the lot. Throughout my decision making process he was a delight to deal with. He is personable, professional, helpful and politely persistent, (whilst I test drove vehicles elsewhere). The BUICK is now sitting in my driveway and I am very happy with my decision. A big thank you to 'Lou', Paul (who helped us with payment & warranty) and the detailing guy, who presented it 'like new' for my pick up date. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend your services and JOHN BEAR New Hamburg.

If I could give John Bear & it’s staff more than 5 stars, I would! From the very first moment I walked through their doors, to the very day I drove our truck off the lot, nothing but smiles & positive things to say. Everyone I interacted with, be it short or long, were extremely kind, inviting & professional. I felt like I was walking into the house of a loving family, so welcoming & happy!
I mainly dealt with Doug, who made the whole process beyond smooth & worry free.
Julian helped me with the ins & outs of truck operations but was also so patient; helped teach my daughter about plating a vehicle! Julian was very thorough in his explanations & didn’t leave a truck detail out.
The facility itself is HUGE, super clean & very organized. It’s open, airy & well lit. The lot outside is easily accessible from the main highway & parking is convenient wherever your needs are meant to be met. Everyone has a smile on & are quick to help direct.
Back to Doug. Truth be told, we are friends, long time friend to my husband. BUT with that being said, he was able to remain professional & help find us the best fitting truck for our family. I never felt under sold or over sold. I trusted him with our finances & he helped make my dream of owning a truck a reality. Even though we have known each other for years, there was still a sense of business man about him & he didn’t blur the lines outside the office vs friendship. He held true to John Bears expectations & that really impressed us!
The service department put together our truck beautifully! It was so shiny, clean & just simply too gorgeous to not capture plenty of “your truck will never look this good again” photos. They really cleaned her up & presented her shiny ways in time for me to bring her home.

My story is a funny one.. I had taken my 2015 Sierra in for an oil change and transmission service in Waterloo. I noticed a sign advertising specials on trade. I reached out to my salesperson there and was told they'd get back to me. A friend of mine suggested I reach out to Doug Bennett whom they had just purchased a new Silverado from. I did so and he was quick to reply and professional from the beginning.

Now don't get me wrong -- there was NOTHING wrong with my previous truck but I wanted to see what the numbers were like if I traded up.

Long story short, I'm now driving a shiny new 2017 Silverado Z71 Courtesy of Doug Bennett and the team at John Bear New Hamburg!

20 minutes, worth the drive from Kitchener, nice home town friendly atmosphere, service work is great, the only place I trust my GMC Terrain.

I recently bought a Camaro and was very satisfied with the service. Julian was very pleasant to deal with. I had a rear view camera installed and they picked up the car and dropped it off at my home. After dealing with several high pressure salesman at other dealerships it was a pleasant surprise to deal with Julian. I would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from these guys.

Our experience at John Bear was fantastic. Karl is your man if you want to buy a car. We just bought a pre owned vehicle and were treated very fairly. We will be shopping there first for our next car.

I bought a Buick Enclave from John Bear almost two months ago. The salesman Karl was very knowledgeable and friendly.
