Herriott Street Dental (Dr. Kevin Orser, Dentist)

The new Canadian Dental program launched May 1, 2024. My visit was May 2, 2024. Herriott Street Dental had signed on to participate in the program and were ready willing and professional. Contrary to many negative media stories stating that Oral Care professionals were reluctant to work with this new government program the entire staff treated me with respect and were a credit to their profession(s). Every reluctant Oral Care Provider and the Associations purporting to represent them could take a lesson from the way Herriott Street Dental is managing the launch of this new program.

My first time at Herriott Street Dental today was a very pleasant experience. I had one of the most gentle but effective dental cleanings by my hygienist Courtney. Dr. Ngozi explained in detail what my x-rays indicated and the office staff, Michelle and Kelly, were friendly and efficient in organizing my future appointments. Five star rating!

I really appreciated the care and professional service during my recent dental cleaning! I had a very extensive cleaning and checkup including X-rays! I was booked in very quickly for follow up treatment! Thanks to all for your professional care!

Since doctors Elena and Alexander Pilipenko have taken over this dental office from Dr. Kevin Orser when he retired, I have been seen by the best Hygienist and had two emergency visits for a filling and a broken tooth. The filling was done by one of the new owners Dr. Elena Pilipenko who did a great job and the second visit for the broken tooth was with Dr. Persoon Saini who took the time to make sure I was relaxed and at ease. Let’s face it, going to the dentist is never the most pleasant thing, but because of the excellent professional caring staff, my latest two experiences have been great.

I had two crowns and night guard. The first crown didn't work out too well. Dr. Persoon replace it at no charge. He wanted to be certain that I was completely satisfied with his work. I am. The night guard fits perfectly.

Having been a patient of Kevin for so long I was concerned with changing dentists.

However, I was ensured after 3 visits with Dr. Persoon that nothing was lost in patient care.

From the front desk to the assistants and hygienists and dentists, Herriot St. Dental is 1st class in care and performance.

Dr Ngozi is amazing. She was able to extract my very old half-erupted wisdom tooth without referring me elsewhere. No sedation no sutures, no stress! The easiest extraction I’ve ever had on a tooth that shouldn’t have been easy to extract!

Staff are very thorough and confident with their work. An additional procedure was explained, but not pressured. I always feel at ease walking into their office.

Had an implant done last fall done by Dr. Pillipenko. Everything went very smoothly and Alex was always available (by phone) to answer any questions. Very happy with the results. Robert Mears

Dr. Persoon is very pleasant and professional. Explains everything including risks and takes his time to perform the procedure.

I've had 3 appointments now, and am pleased with the care and attention, as well as the gentleness of the Dentist and dental staff.

Very impressed. No pressure to do anything extra. I've had things explained here that I've never discovered in almost 60 years of dental appointments.
