Deans valu-mart is truly a high value market. Despite it being the only grocery store in small, isolated, Gore Bay, it has practically everything that you would get in the larger cities. From rotisserie chicken to deli meats to fresh meat to frozen foods, and everything in between. Haven’t found one thing yet we wanted but weren’t able to get!
And the staff are really kind and helpful and go out of their way to help you find what you’re looking for.

Good helpfully staff. I'm a disabled senior.
I was surprised when I moved here last summer, that I was able to find all the groceries I needed for my diabetic diet. ie. Home made soul supplies, salads, various noodles etc. I'm more than happy with Dean's.
PS. Some sweets and cales too!!

Rural grocery store with some of the struggles of being located in a rural area. The owner has great heart and provides huge support to the local Food Bank and charities.

Walked in from the marina to reprovision the boat. Had a great selection of everything we needed. I was pleasantly surprised for such a small town.
