RayPort Campground

I used to come here every summer when my grandfather would have his camper. He used to have it year round on the grounds though not sure if you still do that. I remember playing games and swimming. Campfires bbqs. And other kids my age to play with as well as make alot of friends.
It was definitely the best summers ever.

Hidden gem! Well maintained and cared for by Ray and Dave. Bathrooms and showers are immaculate! I've never seen public facilities this clean, wow! Pool is super clean. Nothing shows age. The sites by the river are some of the best I've been at any campgrounds I've ever been at. Site a close but not on top of each other. Owners treat you like family. I would recommend in an instant!

This is another great campground run by good helpful people. We enjoyed our stay, washrooms were clean showers were free with lots of hot water and very clean. Despite all the rain damage to this area the campground was in excellent condition. We would stay here again.

Many species of birds around, which was so beautiful.
Nice flat spots.
Cleanest washrooms I have ever been to at a campground.
Hookups and dumping stations fast and easy.
It was great there was a food truck close to campground.
Easy and friendly check in.
Nice convenience store. Even sell local craft beer.
We will be back!

Great spot!! When the water is flowing the river is quite nice. The regular family of ducks visits were extra special. Camp staff were very friendly and accommodating. Site were large and level each with a fire pit. Perfect launching pad for day trips into Mahoney bay, Lunenburg and Peggy’s Cove. Happy camping!!!

The worst part is having to leave. This campground, by far, has been our favorite go-to vacation spot for the last 5 years. From the moment you drive in and see the Welcome Home sign, to the time you drive away, the atmosphere, the river, our fellow campers, and the Eisnor family make the experience unforgettable. See you next year, folks, and thank-you for another wonderful time.

Stayed 4 nights while exploring the area. Host was very accommodating as we juggled dates due to the disruption of Hurricane Fiona. Lovely treed Park. River behind our site. Ducks visited us daily. Facilities were clean. Great showers. Did laundry. Friendly staff. Easy drive to area attractions.

Very quiet and relaxing campground. Been going evey year for the past 4 years. Love it especially right by the river.

Great campground. Very clean and welcoming! Wifi worked well and the showers were the best I've used at all of the campgrounds I have been to. They have a laundry room as well. There is a pool however it was cold so we didn't get to use it. Ray the owner is so accommodating and kind! Will be back!

What a great place and people who own and run it!!
It is really well maintained and you can see they are renovating parts of it.
It's easy access to Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, Oak Island, Peggy's Cove and many more great places!

We stayed here for two days in early July. We had a great time. Our toddler loved playing in the pool and cruising his bike around the park. He also loved exploring the river behind our campsite, which was the perfect depth for a toddler to play safely, though this could change depending on the time of year. Staff was very friendly, as was the community of seasonal guests. A handful of spots had their service hook ups in awkward places, but that's easy to work around. The campground is situated conveniently close to Mahone Bay, which makes for great excursions for the family to go exploring and taken in the beauty of the South Shore. Recommended!

A really nice, relaxing, friendly campground. Flat and level sites. Good electric and water. Sites have gray water drain but no black tank drain. There is a dump station and I believe honeywagon service. Located on a river with some sites backing onto it. Very peaceful. Clean and has laundry facilities. Beautiful tall pines and maple trees throughout the campground.

Ideally located near Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay, Chester and Lunenburg.

We really enjoyed the campground.

We went to RayPort camp ground and we were on the river side , it was beautiful. We had a camp fire . It's so relaxing .

Very peaceful campground. Loved having a site by the river. Enjoyed having my morning coffee listening to the water. Great washroom and shower facilities. Very clean pool. And staff/owner were awesome. Thank you for such a nice stay!

The man running the place (sorry forgot his name) greeted us in the most welcoming way. Made sure we had everything we needed and gave us the best spot to set up our tent right on the creek side. Told us if we ever needed something just too knock on his home door (and we did he supplied us with propane for our bbq. Super nice dude). Bathrooms where spotless and showers had no shortage of hot water. Awesome campground would recommend!

I love coming here every few years with my family. Not a seasonal camper but a tenter, they have 4 sites for tents which vary in size. Its such a beautiful area with lots to do. The owner is very friendly , he remembers us even if it takes a few years to come back. The facilities are nice, the pool is always amazing, and I always have so much fun here!

Beautiful, clean and relaxing campground. The bathrooms and showers were immaculate. The hosts, Dave and Judy were very helpful in answering our questions about the area and tours. We loved it so much, we have booked 2 weeks next year!

Our camping experience was great, our site being along the banks of Martin's River was very relaxing and enjoyable. The site was flat so leveling the RV was easy. The gent at the office was very helpful and friendly. Wi-Fi was good. Lots of garbage units throughout the grounds, shade under the trees that line the river' edge and lots of sunny area, too. We will definitely be returning to this campground.

Some beautiful riverside sites that are private and serene. Come here with your family for a nice quiet getaway. Staff are incredibly kind and the facilities are clean and well taken care of. Would stay here again. Great campground and RV park

An amazing place to call home for a bit. Rayport Campground is a great spot to base yourself while exploring the area or to simply relax and unwind. The family that runs this campground are professional, friendly and on top of any problems that may arise. The grounds and amenities are nicely kept and if you can, definitely book a riverside spot as the sound of the river is so relaxing. I definitely recommend Rayport, one of the best campgrounds I've stayed at.
