My kittens received great care and fair prices for their spaying and neutering compared to other vets. You can tell that Ruth is an amazing Veterinarian because of her love for animals. Very grateful for her service

Our Kitty Kat Girl, Charlie Angel, who will be 14 years old in October is doing great after a few teeth were extracted and her gums and remaining teeth were thoroughly cleaned on August 10, 2023. She is eating more food comfortably and has gained 1/2 a pound already. Again we would like to thank our vet, Dr. Weston Gobbett, and his crew at Kettle River Veterinary
Services for a job well done on the dental procedure and care for our Charlie Angel.
Last year our 13 year old Chihuahua, Tika, had many teeth extractions done by Dr. Gobbett and is doing great. Well worth the trip to Grand Forks for their great service and fair prices. They do great work to keep our fury family in top condition. They scored a 5 of out of 5 stars review from us.

Very friendly staff, amazing vet! We came all the way from big white to get our sweet heart spayed. Couldn’t hVe been happier and the recovery was amazing for her. Very down to earth grounded family orientate place.

The Drs. in this vet clinic are amazing! They do not over charge and give their opinion with solutions to problems that don't always require a surgical booking or a hefty price tag like many clinics I have taken my animals to in the past.
My dog has extreme allergies and I appreciate their honesty in treatment options.

This group of people, including reception, techs, assistants and most certainly Ruth, are outstanding in every way. The care we received at Kettle River far exceeded any experience I’ve had over 25 years at countless clinics. They gave my senior golden the Royal dental treatment, doing extensive exams and X-rays, removing 7 (I believe!) problem teeth and making her remaining ones look and feel brand new. Her gingivitis was immediately remedied post op. On top of this, the did a lump removal on the same day. The sutures were so expertly done that she didn’t notice them once through the healing process. Including exams, X-rays, full blood panel, surgery, deep cleaning and a full day at the office, plus antibiotics and pain medication, my bill was under $1000. I had been quoted $3000+ and a 6 month wait to remove three obviously problem teeth and a cleaning. That cost did not include a blood panel, X-rays or pain meds and I can’t imagine what the cost would have gone up to had they discovered the other problem teeth that Ruth did. We got in quickly and everything went great. The staff followed up post surgery and provided detailed care info. I cannot recommend this clinic enough. We will always travel to receive care at this clinic, no matter where we end up. Doing a 4 hour round trip was nothing compared to the cost difference and the level of professional care and compassion we received. Thank you Kettle River! You’ve restored our faith in animal care practitioners.

Wonderful staff. The vet come into the office on the weekend (mother's day!) to help out our cat in an emergency. They really love the animals and were so good to us as a panicking family thinking their cat was dying. We were shown x-rays and were involved in all decision making as they updated us on kitty's condition. Thank you Kettle River Vet! 💜

Dr. Ruth and her team are outstanding! Our dogs never mind coming to see this very tiny yet mighty and plucky vet. The support staff are so excellent. I'm always trying to tip them! But they turn me down everytime.

My 100lb pitbull needed some love. The staff were amazing and very thorough. Went in once for an exam and antibiotics. Then 2 weeks later went back to have a procedure done. The Dr called me after and explained everything that happened and what was done.

10/10 great customer service all around, not to mention the most reasonably priced clinic I have ever been to.

Our first visit to see Dr. Weston.
He was very kind and professional. The administration team was fantastic. We just moved to the boundary area and are so happy we found the great team at Kettle River Veterinary.

We brought our elderly cat to Dr. Weston Gobbett. He is the first Veterinarian who I felt was very compassionate during a very sad time for us. He made us feel like he knew exactly why our cat meant so much to us and every step was done with kindness and consideration. He is knowledgeable, competent and has a kind heart. Never lose that compassion, Dr. Weston. It does make the big difference! Kudos also to the ladies at the front desk. Your willingness to help and your kindness did not go unnoticed.

Dr. Ruth and everyone else is always so kind, patient and they really do look after your pets with their best interest in mind. I appreciate that no unnecessary services are ever pushed on us.

Having trouble finding a vet taking patients?? That was our challenge a year ago when we moved to Trail. Our research helped us find kettle River Veterinary services a short drive away in Grand Forks!. What an absolute serendipitous event! I'm so happy it turned out the way it did. The drive to Grand forks is lovely, the staff is helpful and friendly, the vets make sure you understand what's going on and what you need to do to help your animal recover. The best part??? The price tag very reasonable. This is a 10 out of 10 veterinary practice. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for veterinary care for their animal in the Kootenays!!

I highly recommend this veterinary clinic! We are from Kelowna and after being quoted a huge amount for dental surgery on our dog, we started to get some different quotes. We were able to get the same surgery for less than half the price at Kettle River Veterinary. I can assure you there was no lack in quality for the price. The ladies were all so kind and took amazing care of our pup. We will be taking all of our animals there in the future.

Really impressed with the support for my female dacshund today. Dr. Gobbett was really good on the phone and with the follow up after a delicate procedure. Very happy to have them help with Penny and getting her back home!!

Need a wonderful doc for your pets....this is the place to go...not just one..but two of the best vets in town

Took us in on short notice and I felt my Pup was cared for well. Some vets are all about the money and this was different.
