Double Dz's

We wanted a family dinner while riding Ontario. This place was beside a gas station and it is amazing! The food was hot, fresh and delicious. They use local suppliers and food made in house. The Dirty Pig grilled cheese was amazing. The blueberry fritter will be in my taste memory for a long time. So good!

Firstly, let me start by saying I have searched far and wide for the best donut shop for the last couple of years. Excluding the downtown Toronto core which I have not explored, Wannamaker's in Trenton ruled the battle of dough for the last couple of years.......

UNTIL now! The donuts I tried were amazing here at Double D'z! Very unexpected level of quality and freshness considering they also serve delicious diner style food as well.

My definitive top 5 considering flavour, value for $$$, and quality:

1. Double D'z
2. Wannamaker's
3. Coffee Way
4. Frosted Flour
5. Maverick's

I just drove from hwy 7 east, through the city of Peterborough, the entire length of Lansdowne st. Passing DQ, KFC/Taco Bell, burger king, Mic D, Wendy's, A&W, Arby's. All the fast food places, and countless restaurants. Just to get to this place! Still couldn't finish what I was served. I had the Mr Bull, fries and gravy. Reasonable price for the amount you get! Definitely worth the drive. This is my new go to place. Also the breakfast is huge too. 👍

Ate here a couple weeks ago for the first time. We couldn't believe the portion sizes & for a good price! The Ruben is to die for! Best one I've ever had!
Very nice atmosphere, everyone's friendly & it's clean inside.

Great home cooked quality food, fair prices for amazing tasting food , eggs tasted like I remember them so did the bacon, plus they have amazing donuts and coffee too full to try them now but I'll be back! Definitely.

I had heard a lot about their donuts and when I stopped in, I was not disappointed. They have several unique flavors. The one I chose was fresh and delicious. Stop in, drive through or enjoy something else on their menu.

Ordered with them on Skip but it was so good even through delivery that we have both said we will definitely have to go in person. Portions are hearty, you can tell everything is made in house or sourced fresh. The Slowpoke Cowboy was amazing with house made corned beef. Great value for great food!

Very nice place. Very clean and staff are super friendly. Grabbed a couple of donuts for the drive but the food looked really good. Definitely hitting them up my next trip up this way to try thier food and I’ll return to review.

Amazing service as soon as we walked in the door. All the donuts looked amazing. It was hard to choose just a few. The restaurant looked great. Will definitely be back before we leave town. The donuts are not lasting long.

The bakery goods, are different and tasty. Nice not to look in the bakery display and see the sane as every other coffee shop. Double Dees is also a full service restaurant, they sent you, bring menus, take your order, and deliver to your table fresh, well ❤‍🩹 made meals. The staff are friendly and helpful, you can also add a dessert to take home, all of this makes Double D's a Gold 🥇 in our 📚 books.

A great little dinner with great big donuts. The food was tasty and fresh and the counter staff were personable and friendly. I enjoyed my meal and brought some donuts to the open house I’m hosting. They’re a hit!

My wife and I walked into this quaint diner to get a coffee and donut to go but ended up staying and ordering two amazing dinners! The food was absolutely delicious and quite obviously home-made. I had a burger on bread with fries and peas on the side (and gravy). I typically don't eat a lot but I could not resist cleaning my plate. My wife ordered a reuben sandwich with salad and ended up bringing half of it home. I can't wait to have it for lunch tomorrow!
They have been at this location for about a year but the clientele is growing. If you are ever near this place, we highly recommend you stop in for a meal. And btw, their donuts are homemade as well. We'll be back to give them a try!!

Stopped in today and had a great meal. Food was hot and delicious and so filling! Our server was super friendly, can't wait to come back!

The Rueben sandwich was the BEST I've ever eaten. I had to take it home the portions were so large. Came with side of fries and they were chip truck style ! Definitely will be back!

Had their breakfast, great breakfast spot and any other meals dinner/lunch...

I never order sausage as I hate sauage patties. But let me tell you, this sausage was the best I have ever had. It's frinkin home made with such flavor and spice. Yummy.

I must say the service from ALL the staff was exceptional. Warm and welcoming and valued me as a customer.

Carol, our server, was on point from the time we walked in.

The owner, Cheryl, took the time to check up on us when she wasn't busy making the many delicious meals.

Whenever I am in this neck of the woods, it's Double Dz's all the way.

Double D'z Donuts and Restaurant is now open. I had breakfast there today and it was great. The potatoes are to die for. I also had a apple fritter after and it was Soooo fresh. Great little place with a drive through for fresh donuts and coffee too.

We had Double D's cater a dinner meeting for my group of ladies. It was chicken cordonbleu and it was amazing. Everyone (all 15 of us) licked our plates clean. It was the best chicken dinner I've ever been served. I do not hesitate to recommend Double D's as a destination for great eats.

Had a great time here! Service was very friendly for me and my party. The fries were really great, and coffee was kept topped up.

Ok. I made an order for some “fun” donuts for a party. Double D’z delivered! And then some! Really made the party a lot of fun. The donuts were a hit tasted amazing!! Great option instead of a boring old cake!!
