Winston Bar & Bistro

We were staying nearby and decided to try this place out for dinner. Great choices if you are vegetarian too. Ordered the Beet salad and the Onion soup. Divine soup and so filling yet light. The salad added a great freshness. We followed that up with their Stir Fry. We practically inhaled the dish. If we are ever in Golden again, we are surely heading here.

I have to say the service was impeccable and food was amazing! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile and we were offered a drink while we waited for a table. We sat at the bar and Carla gave us 5 star service. We had the feature meals which we are still raving about! There was live entertainment which brought some excitement to the evening.
I highly recommend this place and encourage you to try it for yourself.
On another note there was a review by a “Grace” who claimed the staff didn’t contact her regarding her table. While I was enjoying my cocktail while waiting her name was called on three different occasions, the staff even went outside to look for her. I would disregard “Graces” review.

Cozy mountain lodge right on the hill. Great variety and tall drinks! Excited to visit again for live music and say hi to Marie!

Super awesome popular log cabin pub on Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Excellent atmosphere, great eats & super friendly staff.

Fantastic food and excellent service. Glad we stopped in at the beginning of our vacation…will 100% go back before heading home. (Prime Rib special was 👌)

My friends and I spent the day at Kicking Horse 🐎 mountain resort and made our way to the Winston Bar and bistro and were absolutely pleasantly surprised with the food and the friendly and diligent staff. Talk about a hidden gem 💎 The butter chicken is to die for, best I’ve had in years and the pizzas were delicious and you should try the butter chicken pizza is awesome. The portions are great size, especially if have been riding all day. You won’t be disappointed.

Great little bar at the bottom of the hill. Good selection of food and drinks and the staff were great. Lots of fun games too.

We have had multiple ski-venings in this cozy spot, enjoying a cocktail and tasty dinner. The service has been fantastic this year and the menu, while limited on options, had always satisfied our various tastes. Hands down the best option to go for dinner while up at KMHR.

We had B&B and then left our car at the secured car parking at Winston . This was a massive bonus to anyone travelling to Southampton for a holiday or cruise. (And a hell of a lot cheaper than P&O stay and park packages )The room we stayed in was lovely and clean and found all staff really friendly, helpful very welcoming .We will definitely reccommend Winston to family and friends who may need to stay

Had a great take out dinner from here and I need to know what is in the sauce for their honey hot wings! Best wings flavour I have ever had! (Seriously though... can I have the recipe?)

Great spot for after skiing drinks, dinner, and on Saturday night, we saw some fantastic live music at Winston’s. A must visit when you get to kicking horse.

We ate here twice and it was very good. You can sit outside when the weather is nice. A great place if you are near kicking horse mountain.

Great fun. Live music with local beers. Tasty food served by staff that smile and never leave you with an empty glass. Not to be missed if you are here for a few days.

Perfect place after a day of skiing at Kicking Horse! Great food and even better staff! Will definitely be back.

Really good burger, if you like salmon you have to try their burger so delicious.

Probably the best place to eat at the horse that isn't the steak restaurant which I'm too poor to go to so I wouldn't know 😂
